Mostly, Caurus just needed somepony to hide behind if she got scared while scavenging. Which she didi, as an alley cat's curious meow interrupted her delicious apple core feast. Caurus ran as fast as her legs could carry her to Ela's hoof, hiding behind and waiting out the cat.

Eventually, the cat retreated back into the alley. Caurus sighed in relief and seemed to thank Ela in the breezie language before returning to her core.
