Mostly, Caurus just needed somepony to hide behind if she got scared while scavenging. Which she didi, as an alley cat's curious meow interrupted her delicious apple core feast. Caurus ran as fast as her legs could carry her to Ela's hoof, hiding behind and waiting out the cat.

This attracted her attention back towards the bed, her lips slightly parted as she looked curiously to what made the noise. A breezie? She slightly retraced her steps and kneeled down once more to observe. Ela never seen one of these before so it was somewhat fascinating to the deadpan.
