View MoreDuring this time, Rosa would have come face-to-face with the creature that'd pulled her away from the path towards her home. Nothing. There was nothing there at all, just an empty void where something could have been standing. But that was the hint. Something could have been standing there. Her eyes went wide as she went to dodge back, but a hoof reached out from thin air and grabbed hold of her. The soft breeze picked up into a small gust, blowing a cloak off of a Zebra mare that remained holding the thestral in place. The grip was strong, and it had a familiarity to it. Something that rosa never thought, in a million years, she'd ever get to feel again. Her body almost felt limp as her eyes rested on the figure beside her. The zebra was kind looking, tired, and had her mane up in a single braided ponytail. She was scarred far worse than Rosa, and seemed to have only one thing on her mind. She wrapped Rosa in a tight hug, Rosa's only response to gasp for air to break the shock she'd felt. This was no simple ordeal. This mare...this mare was... "Mother..? But...I...it is not possible! You...I saw..." "What your I intended for your father to see, and that would be the fake death of me." Rosa stepped back a bit after being released, unsure what to say...until her senses returned once that familiar scent filled her nose. Alex had been approaching and would have heard the only words spoken at that moment. Rosa wasted no time to approach him, and before he could speak up about the zebra, would wrap him in a hug. It wasn't like Rosa to just walk up and hug anyone, rarely even Alex. Camille was the one she'd hug the most, but what wouldn't you do for your daughter? This hug, though, wasn't strong, or passionate. She trembled slightly with something Rosa kept hidden away for a long-long time: fear. The zebra mare would chime in, "And who may this stallion be? Is he a part of your family? My daughter must trust you to be affectionate like that, even if you wear such a silly hat!"
