View MoreThe fabled Rarity kept quiet as she slowly trotted through the low, thin blanket of gentle mist that swirled about the edges of her cloven hooves, taking in the tranquility that the early morn would bring. With her horn lit up in a delicate array of soft, shimmering cyan light, she levitated a capped travel cup filled to the brim with a piping hot serving of sweetened matcha flavored tea beside her as she made her rounds about the edges of the serene village streets of Ponyville. She stopped on the side of the cobblestone road to watch the streams from the sunrise begin to enlighten the world as they rose from behind the vast horizon, stretching across the faded night sky to brace its edges with a tender kiss, the way a mother would tuck in their foal for the night. With a humbled sigh, the mare took a sip from her tea, a tiny smile edging at the corners of her lips. "My my..." She began, softly musing to herself under her breath. "Although I see the morning sun each and every day, the way the rays of sunshine stretch across the sky and create such a divine palette of colors still steals my small, bestilled heart." A slight breath caught itself in her throat upon a delicate inhale, the Unicorn giving a mild inspired expression upon her face. "Now, there's an idea!" She cooed in utter incandescense, her lashes fluttering with sudden inspiration. "I could created a whole line from the sheer inspiration that comes from both day and night! Surely that would be positively brilliant! I could even extend the line beyond just mere dresses and have it span to all sorts of fashion styles to appeal to the masses! Oh- Oh, I'm already getting some wonderful ideas!" There was a moment of hesitation as Rarity made a tiny exclamation upon realizing something dire; she had forgotten her notepad! With that, her expression twisted to one of slight annoyance as the corners of her mouth curled upside down, the mare scowling a little. "Oh pish, Rarity! You forgot your notepad again!" A faint huff escaped her flared nostrils as she gave the cobblestone a quick, subdued stamp with her front hoof. "Dreadfully silly of you, dear; you mustn't be so forgetful next time!" She gave another sigh- this one sounding much more defeated than the last one- before sipping from her tea again. Now that her self-discipline session was over and done with, the fair furred Unicorn took a moment to survey her surroundings in order to figure out what she was going to do next; after all, she did have plenty of time to kill. She wouldn't be opening her boutique until nine and seeing as how it was only seven currently, she certainly had time to treat herself to something unrelated to work for a bit as a mental refresher. Having all this time on her hooves left her with one question though; just what ever in Equestria was she to do? Were any of her friends even awake at this hour?
