“You…” Big Lick reaches up—way up—and rests one tiny hoof on the side of Reiner’s head, gentle as a moth wing. His voice is softer than usual, almost wondering. “…are one tough nut to crack, cher. View More“You…” Big Lick reaches up—way up—and rests one tiny hoof on the side of Reiner’s head, gentle as a moth wing. His voice is softer than usual, almost wondering. “…are one tough nut to crack, cher. I don’t often get to sit down with fellers like you and talk real business. Most folks see the suits and the chariots and figure that’s all there is to me. But if all you want is to look around, see what’s what… I’ll open the doors. Fair’s fair.” He glances at the cigarette between Reiner’s claws, gives a sheepish little chuckle. “You caught me. Pure leaf only for these lungs. The Mawboro packs?” He taps the case in his pocket of his own cigar, shrugs. “That’s the factory stuff. I own the company, sure, but I don’t touch it myself. Hypocritical, I know. Comes with the territory when every eye in Equestria’s watchin’ you light up.” Big Lick exhales slow, gaze drifting over the street like he’s counting invisible watchers. “I’ve got eyes on me sunrise to sunset. Enemies, allies, a few of 'em being my own people—everybody’s waitin’ to see if the little horse is gonna stumble. So I smile, I open new branches, I keep the bits movin’. Freight, weather, resorts, crystals, lobbyists, security, carriage teams… I had to prove, over years, that me gettin’ bigger wasn’t gonna hurt anypony smaller. Took a long, long time for folks to believe it.” He folds his forehooves together, almost shy. “So far, it hasn’t.” Then he straightens, cups a hoof to his muzzle, and calls out—not loud and showy, just clear and warm, the way you call family in from the porch. “NIGHTREIN! BRIDLEBAY!” The sky answers with the wild, ringing whinny of a zebralicorn and the deeper, rumbling cry of a mulicorn. Black-and-gold harness flashes as the chariot drops between the buildings, wings beating hard, wheels kissing the cobblestones with a thud that rattles windows but somehow feels polite. Big Lick digs into a vest pocket, pulls out two small gold-embossed envelopes, and waves them like treats. “Who wants a bonuuuuuus?” The pair toss their heads, paw the ground, and snort like they’re about to bolt for joy. Big Lick turns back to Reiner, already clopping up the little folding ramp that slides out from the chariot’s side—built just for him. “Come on up. I’ll take you to the flagship office myself. Quiet ride, no audience but the clouds.” He settles into the plush velvet front seat that’s clearly made for someone his size, pats the cushion beside him, and waits.

Oddeus would grin and chuckle, "Yeah, I'm the real deal. I read contracts too. Every. Fuckin'. Word. See you're use to peanuts, acorns, walnuts. I'm the fucking nut cracker, my buddy." He would wipe the dust of off him before stretching and finishing his coffee. Oddeus would crush his up before tossing it in the trash nearby before glancing down at the corporate goons. He would give a slightly disgusted look for a moment before shaking his head, "Not a single ounce of shame. Disgusting grovelers." Oddeus would talk to himself but quietly as he would itch his chin and said, "Well, alright, boys... Better treat me right or hospital bills are in your future." He would pat the one named Bridlebay and said, "Just kidding... Maybe, You corpo cogwheels are annoying as hell!" He would chuckle before getting in the car, crossing his arms, glancing down at Big Lick. Oddeus would shake his head, "Ain't nobody attacking when I'm having this tour or they will have to answer to me. For today only, I come at a premium, big man." He would yawn and closed the door While on the go, he would think for a moment in a surge of awkward silence as he would bring up, "So, How'd a little guy decide to shoot for big projects such as the ones you do? I feel it is hard for people take you seriously, given you're size of a baby wiener diamond! You should meet my buddy, Gaz, he's a mega rich fella too, except he's shady in other ways. I wouldn't look too much into that one." He would shrug and shake his head as if to nonverbally explain not too. "So, you actually pay that well that grease balls will actually grovel at your feet? That's downright despicable and you know it!" Oddeus would shake his head and sigh, "Not giving the best first impressions and if impressing me was your goal, then I'd rethink your strategy going forward. I find you slicker than an grease pit on a Friday morning on December 14th." Why the exact day was a mystery but the point went across like a slap on the face., this fella talked a big game. Being boastful was a Reiner special, his father and mom are the biggest show boats this Manehatten." He would nod and waited to move forward and he would get a better look at this carriage on the inside. This would cause him to pass out from being so comfy before waking up several minutes later in a panicked pant and a cold sweat.
