I'll start When I was a teenager my brother in law took me and 3 of my brothers out camping. I was in charge of filming the adventure. The entire time my second oldest brother kept whining about how he wanted to see a moose. The weather was above 35 degrees Celsius (about 100 degrees for you Americans). Our GPS ended up being busted and we accidentally stumbled upon a military test site. The first night I could hear strange noises outside the tent, it sounded like wailing. Both me and my oldest brother could hear it, but noone else could so they dismissed it and went to sleep. I did not sleep. The next morning we woke early, and a heavy fog covered the campsite. We had a small breakfast and then our brother in law decided that our best path was to go right through the trees. These were really thick trees, and bear in mind we were carrying probably 40 or 50 pounds on our backs. I was also only 13 at the time. We travelled for about 4 hours through rough woods until we found a little beach. Cooked some soup and rested before heading back into the woods. We continued for the remainder of the day, growing more anxious as the time passed. More and more I came to realize that we were actually lost, and our step brother had mo idea where we were. I felt a deep panic and my stomach started to churn. About an hour before sundown, we had to drop our gear and continue on without it, as we were too fatigued to carry it anymore. So we left our tent, food, and clothes behind. We eventually found some powerlines and followed them back to the highway. We eventually found the truck we arrived in parked by the entrance, when we arrived, what I saw horrified me. I immediately shut off the camera and began to cry. My second oldest brother demanded I film but I refused and the the camera into the woods and went into the truck. Beside our truck was a rotting moose carcass, the skin had already begun to sag and the eyes were eaten out. I havent told this story to anyone, so what do you wanna share, anon?
