Perfect Weather. Yes, such a thing existed at times. And today happened to be one of those times. Cloudy sky to block out the sun, and a nice breeze to comfort the coat of any individual. Truly....tod... View MorePerfect Weather. Yes, such a thing existed at times. And today happened to be one of those times. Cloudy sky to block out the sun, and a nice breeze to comfort the coat of any individual. Truly....today was rare. Meaning rare activities needed to be taken for granted. The King had informed his wife that he'd be out for half the day. He explained to her his desire to be alone with his thoughts for a bit. A lot has happened in his Castle, around his Castle. And with the Kingdom on a steady track of improvement? He decided to take some advice from an odd individual. He decided to take a break. Not an absurd length of time, but about half a day. The King knew his Wife and the Lunars were capable of keeping things in order. Honestly? She is most times better then him. And he couldn't be prouder. So with all that? Yes, a break. In the form of meditation. The King didn't meditate often. Never was really a practice of his. Arcane isn't really socialized with calming thoughts and a connection to the world. No, Arcane is more for making peace yourself rather then having peace find you. It is why meditation is usually Light Magic related. Something his Brother used, and also something The King's mothe Had done frequently. And due to it? Artemis had taken rare times to try it out. He lacked patience after all. So...perhaps meditation would do him some good. His location of choice was the fields just underneath Canterlot Mountain. These fields don't really find too much activity. Save for a few hikers, caravans, travels of course. But such individuals usually stick to the roads a mile or so off. So really, this field was perfect. Perfect, lush grass, a few trees in sight towards the ending of the plains, and the sound of wind traveling. In the midst of all this? The King. Seated in the grass with his eyes closed and ears opened. A hood over his head to somewhat keep hidden appearance. He was in peace, just sitting and listening. Hearing nature around him. He had to admit. His Mother and Brother quite the calm way to relax. Perhaps he should do this more often. As time passed by a little bit, the King's thoughts circled around current troubles. Troubles with his sibling, troubles with this Other World he is now fully involved in, troubles of other beings from other worlds making sudden appearances, and most of all? Thoughts towards his Kingdom. Was he really doing all he could for the Kingdom? Short answer? Of course. Yet, the longer answer was merely a lie towards his simple justification. In truth? He wasn't sure. A Kingdom needs a strong ruler. One of action, but analysis for a better tomorrow. The King had these intentions. Although not expected for it as a colt? He was still trained to be a fully bred Royal. He knew what goes into a Kingdom. What makes or breaks one. He would never sell himself short. Artemis knew he had the capabilities of being a great King. Better then his Father? Never. More driven then his Brother? He could only wish. For Artemis knew his true nature. He knew the stallion he was. He knew the most concerning and frightening reality. He was his Father's son. He was the second born of King Astral. He was the new King of Darkness. Like his Father. And his Father before him. And where is Father drifted from Arcane practice? Artemis seeks to embrace it. Spread it into the Kingdom. But of course, they'd lead to failure. For a Kingdom only in Arcane is off balance.There needed to be balance. And that Balance will come from the Purity of his Queen. Her stand of authority will grow and mature. And when it finally blossoms? Artemis sees great things for the Kingdom. And it wasn't only his Queen. No...he desired more support. Pure support. Loyal support. Allies. Yet...the only allies he has somehow established is mostly not of this world. He needed to focus on this world. This Kingdom. He needed... "More allies of my world....If I seek out individuals that seek or starve for a better Kingdom? The one that they occupy? It will benefit in the long run. For a individual that wants best for their Kingdom, is one that'll eventually change it. I need more allies in ky Kingdom. Of my Kingdom. Geniuses, engineers, Magicians, witches, Gypsies, different cultures. Pure hearts of each or all groups. No Noble strives for greed and control. Individuals more pure at heart then I could hope to be. But...allies that are also willing to give me a chance." #rp
