Friendship Letters

(Let's skip forward in time to where the best space pirate arc I have ever done is... well, being done. Welcome to Dead Pirates Tell No Tales, a Warframe-inspired arc, now turned into a full-on story. In this story, we follow Stickman and his crew as they uncover the mystery behind the Tempestarii's re emergence from a void storm, and fight off the fearsome corpus space captain, Vala Glarios and her so-called Sisters of Parvos. If you are confused about some terms of Warframe, do let me know in the comments and I'll do my best to explain what I mean. With that, let's get started! Enjoy! -Stickman)
CHAPTER 1: WHO WAITS FOR THE SHADOW
Stickman and his friends were out in the corpus proximia in the HQ's railjack mode. They were sent on a mission to scrap some metal from the destroyed Lucretia Platform. There was a void storm rolling in. "Things seem a bit... quiet here." Stickman said as he piloted the railjack. We then shot some supply crates and collected the resources that came out of them. As soon as they head further in, the alarms sound. "Warning. Ship imminent. This escalated quickly." Cy would say. A corpus ship flew into view. "Captain. Vala Glarios. So pleased to meet you. So. This is the famous United Stickman Force I have heard about from the board. I should've expected you all amongst the flotsam. Sequester that ship for Parvos!" Vala said. Corpus fighters were sent out from the corpus flagship as Stickman made maneuvers, dodging the corpus fighters. It was no use. "Spacial anomaly detected." Cy said. A ship got shot out of one of the flares. The ship started talking to the heroes. "WHO... WAITS... FOR... THE... SHADOW..." The ship said. "I see you... Bastard! I see you!" Vala said. The mystery ship sent homing missiles at a nearby corpus crewship, instantly wiping it out. "Oh no." Stickman said. "Locking onto an escape corridor." Cy said as the ship powered up. They then escaped the scene.
CHAPTER 2: THE LEGACY OF THE TEMPESTARII
Once in the void tunnel, Stickman got off of the piloting harness. "That... was a ghost ship." Stickman said. "Not just that, a ghost railjack..." Skystar said. "We need to figure out what it is and figure out why it's in it's state." Stickman said. "Query. If you want to figure out that ghost ship, you can search in the logs of the corpus ships. In the logs should be your answer." Cy said. Stickman nodded. "Yes. Prepare my Ash Prime, Cy." Stickman said. "Affirmative. Loading your Ash Prime into the Slingshot now." Cy said. "Ooh! Are we going ghost hunting?" Skye said, jumping up and down. "Not really. We're discovering what that ship is." Stickman said. Skye looked sad. "Aww don't worry. We'll probably hunt ghosts soon enough." Stickman said. Once out of the void tunnel, they happen upon a corpus obilesk. "That is your target, Stickman. Get in and get the logs." Cy said. Stickman transferred into Ash Prime and used the slingshot to send himself to the ship. The breach was successful. Using Ash Prime, Stickman then made his way through the ship, hacking into the consoles and getting the logs. Once he got them, he made his way out and into the HQ again. "So... What does the logs say?" Skystar said. "One moment." Cy said as he decoded the logs. "It says here that the ship is named the Tempestarii. A combat rescue ship designed to save lives. Her last mission was to the void. She went down saving lives." Stickman and his friends looked sad. "She is still calling. Waiting for one more rescue." Cy said. Stickman then got an idea. "What if we called upon the Tempestarii to "Rescue" us?" He said. "Great idea! Do you have anything that we can use to call it?" Jewel said. "I have an orokin distress beacon that was used during the old days. We will use it to signal the Tempestarii. Locking a void tunnel corridor to an active void storm." Cy said as the HQ changed it's course. Stickman got into the piloting harness. It was time to call the ghost ship.
CHAPTER 3: VALA'S LAST STAND
Once out of the void tunnel, they appear on the other side in a void storm. "I am signaling the Tempestarii now." Cy said as he played the distress beacon. The Tempestarii appeared in front of them. It was tense now. "WHO... WAITS... FOR... THE... SHADOW..." The Tempestarii called to them. "Your. Golden. Masters." Cy said in response. The Tempestarii fired up it's weapons and started firing at us. "CY! WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO?!" Stickman yelled at the Cephalon. "Avoid the Tempestarii's attacks at all costs while I reopen coms!" Cy said. "You don't need to tell me twice! Everyone hang on!" Stickman said as he did maneuvers to avoid the Tempestarii's homing missiles. Once enough time was passed, Cy managed to open coms again. "WHO... WAITS... FOR... THE... SHADOW..." The Tempestarii bellowed again. "We. The lost souls." Cy replied back. The Tempestarii responded. "She... hears us." Cy said. "Tempestarii. All aboard are safe. Stand down. Your mission is complete." Stickman said to the Tempestarii. The Tempestarii then stopped near us and lowered it's shields. "Your presence is requested aboard the Tempestarii." Cy said. "I'll go. Look after the HQ." Stickman said as he transferred into his Lavos, which was ready for him near the airlock. Stickman then used his Archwing to head into the Tempestarii. Inside the ghost railjack, it was all void-like. "Wow... This place is... otherworldly." Stickman said. He then went to the bridge... where a ghost was waiting for him. "The Shadow... a ghost manifested by void energy. He is not... conventionally alive." Cy said. The shadow pointed toward the nav area. "Their final mission, a rescue mission. The data is corrupted. He cannot retrieve it. We can help." Cy said. Stickman then used his Wristwatch communicator to try and uncorrupt the data. "Stickman, a ship is warping in and coming in hot!" Jewel said over the coms. "Brace! Brace! BRACE!" Cy said as the Tempestarii was hit hard by Vala's ship. "Oh! Stickman! You went and lulled the beast to sleep for me! How kind." Vala said as she launched out a shockwave toward the Tempestarii, blowing Stickman down and knocking him out. As he was blacking out, he heard Vala's words ring. "I was working in an exosuit when the Tempestarii and it's void storms destroyed Lucretia platform. I... drifted... for... days... among the frozen fragments of my crew. My sisters! I... dreamt their dead... gaping... mouths... were singing with me yet." As Stickman laid there unconscious, Corpus boarded the Tempestarii. The Shadow worked to protect Stickman as his sister and his friends tried to board the Tempestarii, but to no avail. Once the corpus aboard were dead, he finally wakes up. "Stickman. The Tempestarii is trapped in a capture beacon. Solution. Junk that platform." Cy said. Stickman nodded and transferred into his Lavos. He then went out and headed aboard the platform. Making his way through the facility, he cleared the platform of it's workers. He then disabled the platform and left it destroyed. Stickman then went back to the tempestarii. "The Tempestarii is powering weapons. Swat down pests." Cy said. Stickman took to the pilot harness of the Tempestarii and shot it's homing missiles at the corpus fighters. Once a few minutes passed, the missiles powered. "Ordanance powered. Unleash the storm." Cy said. Stickman flipped open the missile button and pressed it, firing it at Vala's flagship. A direct hit! A Void pocket opened and sucked in the flagship. "Sisters! Hear me! Hound them to hell and back! At the hands... of Parvos... himself!" Vala said as she was sucked in. Stickman then directed the Tempestarii into the void pocket and went in. "Final mission, Tempestarii. Today... a long voyage ends." Cy logged as he went grey. Stickman then piloted the Tempestarii towards the marker and picked up the life pod. The Tempestarii then went out of the void. Stickman then went to the cargo hold, where the Shadow awaited him. He was in front of the life pod. "I... WAIT... FOR... THE... SHADOW..." The pod said. "YOUR... SHADOW... HAS... COME..." The shadow said. The life pod then opened to reveal a Warframe. Sevagoth. The shadow then went into Sevagoth. (Now... this may seem like i'm copying some of the COTT quest, and yeh, I uhh... am. But this is only to set up the second half of this adventure, where it REALLY gets good.)
CHAPTER 4: SISTERS, BELOW, BELOW
A few months after the events that just transpired, a heavy Void Storm popped up in one of the Proximia reigons. Stickman and his friends investigated. The Tempestarii was there, being outgunned by a lot of corpus. We head toward the place where the tempestarii was and take down the corpus fighters. "Phew." Stickman said. The Tempestarii opened coms. "STORMS... UNBALANCED... NEED... HELP..." The Tempestarii sent to us. It was clear what it wanted us to do. "We gotta help the Tempestarii!" Yinu said. "You don't need to ask me twice." Stickman said. He got into his Lavos, made sure Lavos's potion belt was fixed tightly, and he went to the Archwing Slingshot. Everyone else followed suit, and they got launched to the Tempestarii using the Slingshot. Once aboard, they met up with Sevagoth's Shadow. "VOID... DISRUPTED..." Sevagoth's Shadow said as he greeted the heroes. Stickman and his friends looked at the navigation. It seemed that there was some disruptions in the void area. With some quick thinking, Stickman and his friends nodded at the Shadow, and teleported him and his friends to the railjack. They then followed the Tempestarii into a void portal.
CHAPTER 5: SO IT'S INTO THE VOID NOW ME GIRLS AND ME BOYS
On the other side of the void portal, Stickman and his friends' Warframes stopped working. With some quick thinking, Stickman, now out of his Lavos, took control of the railjack and continued to follow the Tempestarii. After piloting for a bit, Stickman and crew happen upon some Corpus ships. "That's... odd... I thought that when the Corpus came in here, they get corrupted by Orokin towers." Yinu said. "I don't know. But we're going to find out." Stickman said as he maneuvered his way to some of them. The corpus ships started firing at the HQ. Stickman dodged the shooting ships. "Well well. If it isn't Stickman and his crew. The ones who shot me into the void." A voice said. A void-swept flagship flies into view. It was Vala! "I should've expected you to help the Tempestarii. Now you're trapped in the void... just like me!" Vala said. Stickman gripped the piloting bars as the Tempestarii flew to near us. "At least I had the heart to not go after a ghost." Stickman said. "Take down that ship. For Parvos!" Vala said. The flagship engaged with the HQ and the Tempestarii. Stickman took to his Necramech and launched it at the flagship. "Guys, protect the Tempestarii. I'm going in. This is going to be personal now." Stickman said.
CHAPTER 6: A VOID BATTLE
As Stickman got into the flagship via the Necramech, he transferred out of it and made his way to the bridge. Corpus tried to stop him, but to no avail. The pencil sword was more mightier than their guns. A void storm raged hard outside the flagship. It was intense. Void sinks appeared in the ship, but it wasn't stopping him. Stickman then made it to the bridge. "So. You finally made it." Vala said. Sisters of Parvos suddenly appear beside Vala. She grabs out her own sword, but keeps it behind her. "Sisters... get him off my ship!" Vala said. The Sisters engaged Stickman. Stickman then used his swordsman skills to take down the Sisters of Parvos. It was just Stickman and Vala now. "Just you and me now, Vala." Stickman said as he pointed the sword at Vala. Stickman then lunged at Vala, meeting at the middle of the bridge in a sword clash. With a lot of clashing and whatnot, Vala and Stickman engaged in battle. With a swipe, Vala swung her energy sword at Stickman. He blocked it and swiped his sword. With a thousand swipes happening between the two, it seemed they were reaching a stalemate. However, an opening came to Stickman and he took it, swiping the sword at Vala, disarming her. She fell to the ground. "Don't kill me! Please! I've already been through death once! I don't want to go through it again!" Vala said as she begged for her life. Stickman spinned the pencil sword and stabbed it into the ground. "Leave the Void. Never return. Do not mess with the tempestarii and it's void storms." Stickman said. Vala nodded.
EPILOGUE: SO FAREWELL WITH A KISS, THEN IT'S FAST FOR THE MISTS
Stickman activated the recall button on his omni-tool. He teleported onto the bridge of the HQ, to where everyone was cheering him. Vala was defeated! The void-swept corpus flagship translated out of there. Yinu was nowhere to be found, however. She was on the bridge of the Tempestarii. Yinu walked up to Sevagoth's Shadow and held up a picture to him. "WHAT... IS... THIS..." Sevagoth's Shadow said. "It's a picture of you and your friends... and me!" Yinu said, gleefully. The shadow took it. "THANK... YOU..." Sevagoth's Shadow said. A projection of Stickman popped up onto the Tempestarii. Stickman noticed Yinu with Sevagoth's Shadow and he breathed a sigh of relief. "We were just wondering where you were. C'mon back, we're headed home." Stickman said. Sevagoth's Shadow gave Yinu a device. "IF... NEED... HELP... ACTIVATE..." Sevagoth's Shadow said as Yinu warped out. The Tempestarii opened up a void portal out of the Void, and Stickman maneuvered it out of the Void. Yinu gave Stickman the device Sevagoth's Shadow gave her, and he installed it into the console. Stickman warped the HQ out of there. Meanwhile, aboard the void-swept corpus flagship, Vala was in a weakened state. She clammored over to the bridge console, and fell. She looks up to see a golden hand reaching out for her. "Sister..." The voice said.
THE END!
