The stone walkway ahead of Amy closes just after having opened up to swallow her boyfriend. Before the stone walkway has even fully closed back up, she steps around it, and begins a quick jog into the plaza ahead. She takes note of how brightly lit the plaza is, despite the lack of any lit light fixtures within. A glace upwards shows that a moon hangs directly above the city. Not only is it a bright, full moon, but it's much larger than it should be. Almost twice the size of what she remembers the moon back in Equestria to look like. The light it gives off lights the plaza in a brilliant, but soft white light, giving her full visibility, despite it being the dead of night. When she looks even further beyond the plaza, down the road ahead, she notices that Canterlot Castle in particular appears to practically radiate moonlight. Not as though it's reflecting the moon's light, but rather, is another source of it.
As she jogs into the plaza proper, Amy takes note of her surroundings. In the middle of the plaza is a great fountain, which depicts two, mythical looking figures standing back to back. Both appear to be male alicorns. Each sports an ornate crown atop their head, but each figure is distinct from the other. One figure's hair appears as though it were made to resemble a flame that takes the shape of medium length hair. The crown atop it's head features a brilliant, orange opal in the middle, which causes the moonlight that hits it to turn a soft orange. He wears a long, flowing cape, and has his arms outstretched, as if offering a hug. His build is well muscled, but lean. The other figure sports long, flowing hair that appears to trail upwards near the bottom. His crown sports a dark purple amethyst, which causes the light that hits it to reflect a deep, lavender. He stands tall, with a regal air about him, but a warm smile upon his lips. His build is lean, and thin. Despite their difference in build, the two appear to be of the same height.
As Amy approaches the fountain, it appears to sputter to life. Water spurts from each of the Alicorns' horns, quickly growing into two steady streams. The streams of water arc through the light reflected from the gems, giving each a unique color as they arc through the air, and into the basin below. Closer inspection reveals ornate carvings on the outside of the basin. Depictions of the sun, and moon, stars, and the various different races that inhabit Equestria all around them. As the basin begins to fill with water, Amy notes just how clear the water is. If it weren't for the moonlight shimmering off of the top, she may have thought the water was being drained from the fountain. Her jog comes to a stop as she peers into the fountain. In all honesty, she was kind of hoping there might be some coins inside. Amy places a hand upon the rim of the fountain, and leans over to peer inside.

"Intruderrrrr!"
A voice like thunder booms throughout the plaza. In an instant, the moonlight retracts, leaving Amy in near pitch darkness. Her head shoots upwards, and she spots a focused beam of moonlight shining down on the street in front of the castle. As her eyes move up the beam, and focus on the moon, she is filled with shock, and horror. The craters she had seen on it before have shifted. They now form the shape of an eye. The eye shifts, and the beam of moonlight follows with it. Amy darts out of the plaza, and into an alleyway from back where she had come. She pokes her head out just enough to watch as the moon's eye scours the city. The beam of moonlight follows it's piercing gaze. It darts around the city streets in an erratic fashion. As it passes into the plaza, and towards the street Amy had ran down, she dips into the alley, and presses up against the wall as best she can. The moonlight passes by the alley, and down the street, only to take a turn, and begin heading down an adjacent street.
Amy slowly composes herself. She breathes deep, and slow in an attempt to calm her pounding heart. Once she's managed to stop shaking so violently, she slowly inches over towards the street, and pokes her head out again. Her eyes behold the sight of the gate of the distant Canterlot Castle, beginning to raise.
"Pisces!"
The voice booms once more, echoing throughout the city. This time, Amy notices that the voice itself appears to be coming from the castle.
"Find the intruder, and bring them to me! None shall be allowed to intrude upon my domain!"
Amy's heart begins to race once more. The gate of the castle begins to close.
"Psst!" A hushed voice calls out from nearby.
"In here! Quickly!"
Without thought, Amy hurries to the source of the voice. She finds the door to a building within the alley left ajar. She quickly pushes the door open, and carefully shuts it behind her. Moonlight passes through the windows of the building, and Amy squeezes up against the door to avoid it. Even after the moonlight has passed, Amy stays pressed up against the door.
"It's okay! You're safe now!" The voice calls out from further within. A torch is lit, and the room becomes more than a mass of shadow.
Amy's eyes lock with a mechanical gear. That gear, is attached to what Amy could only describe as a face, made entirely of scrapped together metal. The room around the two appears to be some sort of workshop, full of broken, or unfinished machinery. At the very back, a figure, which appears to be nothing more than a torso, arms, and a head, holds a torch aloft. The metal face is that of the figure, which appears to be some form of automaton, which wears the shirt of a medieval craftsman. "Please do not be afraid. I know I am not what you expected, but I can help you."
