A mind clicks back into place. Foggy at first, stirring from an extended period of vacancy.
Am... I-Is... What was I just d-doing?
Her first thoughts are scattered, confused. Neurons fire and snap back into place, memories returning, motor functions revving up. A groan echoes as she feels the stiffness of her muscles and the cold hard table she lies on... Table... Something about that observation rubs her wrong...
Faing cyan and silver light floods the dark room as Light Show's eyes open in an instant. This isn't a safehouse. She'd never fall asleep outside a safehouse by choice! But... She can't remember being hit by a sleep spell! No, no sleep spell could breach her defenses without being actively channeled first... Was she meeting somepony? Did she let her guard down?
Nothing was coming to her, and she was wasting time. Clearly not a guest or a patient, it only left one thing: Prisoner. Of whom still unclear, Light very quietly slid off the side of her table. Square room, one door, no windows... But looking to the ceiling, the former prisoner finds exactly why she was being held in a lab.
"Tha-that's... They were trying to get in my head!?" Forcing herself to whisper instead of scream, she looks over the runes and script and... And she knows: this isn't the Equestrian government. These are ponies like her, with few morals and- clearly- an interest in assassins. Nopony good would use such a fucked device.
Narrowing her eyes, fear and confusion is replaced by anger. Her blood burns, clearly her reputation was being ignored! A reminder is in order. Turning her eyes to the door, her horn glows with a brilliant silver light.
The guard on the other side doesn't even have time to scream- but the smell is warning enough.
Stepping through the smoking, charred remains of a doorway- and into a pile of ash- she looks down a stone hallway. Putting on a grin- the only thing visible in the darkness alongside her eyes and mane- Light calls out with gleeful vengeance in her voice. "Ello? I'm awake, mates!"
The tapping of hooves on stone as she starts down the hallway, figure blurring for a second. "I WANT BREAKFAST!! The smell of your charred corpses' gonna make me hungry, ay!?"
