This group has been inactive for a while, but thought I'd share some thoughts regarding Ponysquare. I'm going to keep it general and mainly stick to the positives. Let me get it out of the way and say yes, Ponysquare was filled with drama. Lots and lots of drama. I won't deny that, and also won't deny that sometimes I was part of the problem as well. However, I had a lot of positive experiences from PS as well. Thanks to the many people I met back in those days, and the many RPs I had (regardless of their quality), I had what I thought was a solid character with ever-growing lore. PS also was the foundation for getting me into roleplay and starting my path to improving my RP skills. I also enjoyed the friendships and the connections I made there. I'm generally very anti-social (and still am even to this date). But I had people to socialize with on PS especially since we all shared two common interests: MLP, and roleplaying. I had a lot of laughs there and generally liked the vibes (up until the last couple years of PS, at least). I was invited to join the Ambassador program (staff / PR). Initially, I declined, but after being approached by more staff who wanted me to join, I did. So I was in PR for a while and helped put on events while mentoring other members and speaking on behalf of the members with the head staff. I enjoyed it a lot, at least for a while. But the stress started getting to me, and so was the admin. Let's just say some people didn't like me. And the admin REALLY didn't like me. I guess it was to be understood. I often went against his orders because I didn't like how he ran the community and especially the staff. I'm also an emotionally-driven person, so I sometimes make emotionally-driven decisions. And authority figures don't like that. So I was removed eventually. At that point, I became mostly inactive there. All I really know is that Ponysquare died some time after MLP stopped airing new episodes and the popularity of MLP went down. I don't know if that was the true reason, but that's what the staff there said. I was also on some other defunct sites... iBrony I think it was called or something? PhilomenaMagikz. EquestrianMagikz (I'm not proud of that experience...). Pony Social. They all had their own drama. And to be fair, every fandom has drama. Some fandoms and sites have more than others, and PS definitely fell in that category (and so did the above mentioned sites). Though, in the case of PS and especially EqM, I'm to blame for some of it. It's all history though. After about 2017 (I think) I've taken a major step back from RP in general and the MLP fandom. I only sparingly come by to see what's going on post-gen4 in the fandomverse. Heh, I also made Lovinity into a cute angel human as well for non-MLP role playing. Well, someone from the fandom did technically... he wanted to draw her as a Touhou. And it was just so adorable I decided to create a human canon for her on non-MLP sites. I'm honestly surprised I never came to this site until know or knew about it.

I loved ponysqyare in the couple years i was there. Even met my best friend, Dusk on there! Aside from a few wierdos, ive never really understood what "drama" people are talking about. Would somebody care to enlighten me? PMs are fine, if you dont wish to open old wounds for people on here.
