Honestly, NMS I would more comparable to a 3D Starbound. Star systems are similar to how Starbound's are as far as threat level based on how much further out you go based on your tech level. Technically it was made for the ps4, it used to be a PlayStation experience. Heck, other than the awful textures and lack of settlements and multiplayer, it even holds up on switch!
