I guess that if Trip was a DLC character in a fighting style game his nickname/title would be some wordplay like “.EXE-cutioner” or “EXE [de]:file” or “Grim Repeater” something puny like that haahahahah… His stage would be something very grungy or like… eerie. Maybe a warehouse in the middle of the night? all broken down and you can only see ominous imagery like “EXIT” red neon signs in the distance? And the buildings windows are all also illuminated but in red lighting. Just super ominous and uncanny, that kinda vibe. His selection line would be something like “I won’t go away, and I won’t let you get away!” or “I will not accept any other outcome, your defeat is infallible!” or “How many strikes does it take to snuff a bastard?” … His defeat lines would most likely be groans to be honest, hahahaha! Perhaps a “Timeout! …Timeout!” or “I need a break…” also, ban lines? No idea those were a thing but if so, then something like “I’ll see you in Hell!” and “Typical Jerk.” Whereas Victory would sound like “…The hard part is hiding the evidence.” and “Hahaha! Somebody just became a statistic!” Trip’s fight style would be very dynamic but also heavily reliant on props like… I guess he could have a taser that temporarily stunts but also has a timer so you can’t use it all the time? Also using typical tinkering tools as weapons, like a pipe wrench! It’d be cool if he could set down tripwire traps on the stage and you had to avoid stepping on them because they explode. Perhaps even a drone special attack where he summons 2 drones and you have to deal with that before dealing with him? Oh my god, also a special attack but like cinematic, cute, and funny where he summons Highwire and she gets ya with a barbed diabolo! Now for music you already know I am absolutely addicted to Umineko’s soundtrack and it is just the right mixture of melody, drama and aesthetics with a shit ton of electronic in it. It’s Trip, so I feel like he needs something that sounds electric, you know? Also, aggressive! Super-packed! Intense and hectic! Something that sounds like an alarm or that otherwise conveys [DANGER] you know??? Simultaneously energizing but sinister and with the undertones of a death march.
