Ripley blinks once. She blinks twice. She blinks a third time. Her mouth opens but no sound comes out bar an elongated “uhhhhhhhhhhhh.” She snaps out of it a moment later, her sound of distress finally being punctuated with a “what?” (Thank you!!)
