View More#rp SCP Foundation Internal News Broadcast „Good morning, Foundation staff. I’m Dr. Amanda Royce, here to brighten your Monday with an update on the ongoing soap opera that is MTF Epsilon-6, also known as “the ponies who thought it’d be fun to get lost in The Backrooms.” After months of absolutely no contact—unless you count the occasional ominous static on the radio—we’ve finally got a break in the case. That’s right, folks. After disappearing for several months into what we can only describe as a never-ending maze of carpeted hallways and existential dread, two members of the Epsilon-6 pony squad have finally found their way back to us. Team leader Laly and Agent Jordan “Usually Forgot His Saddlebag” Meyers are alive, well… mostly, and currently being held at Site-19. The rest of the team, sadly, is still unaccounted for. Whether they’re hiding, lost, or just really committed to living off stale almond water forever is anyone’s guess.“ A cut to footage of Laly and Jordan trotting through a containment area, both looking frazzled and… off. „Now, here’s the fun part. Laly and Jordan didn’t come back empty-hoofed. Oh no, they brought back a little something extra. And by “extra,” I mean some rather peculiar new abilities. Don’t get too excited, though—they’re more strange than useful. Let’s start with Laly. She now seems to have an uncanny ability to blend into her surroundings. No, not like turning invisible or disappearing into shadows or anything flashy. Think more like… standing very still and somehow making you forget she’s there. Useful? Maybe. Unnerving? Absolutely. One researcher said it’s like playing hide-and-seek with your own peripheral vision. And then we’ve got Jordan, who apparently decided to bring back a party trick. He now creates these weird, low-frequency vibrations when he stomps his hooves. The vibrations aren’t strong enough to, like, knock anything over, but they’re just enough to rattle your coffee mug and make you seriously question every life choice that led to working here. Imagine living with that 24/7. We’re still trying to figure out what purpose this serves, assuming there is one.“ Another cut to footage of containment staff looking mildly uncomfortable as Laly and Jordan are led to their quarantine cells. „Both ponies are being closely monitored while researchers determine what exactly happened to them in The Backrooms. They’ve both been weirdly calm, though they keep talking about “things in the dark” and “smiling faces” that they swear followed them out. Yeah, because that doesn’t sound like the plot of a nightmare waiting to happen. On the bright side, they’re mostly cooperating. On the not-so-bright side, they’ve been banned from staff break rooms until further notice. Apparently, Laly’s “blending in” act freaks everyone out, and Jordan’s hooves have been deemed a coffee-spilling hazard.“ A sudden transition to the weather report with cheerful, uplifting music. „In lighter news, today’s weather is looking lovely, clear skies and a pleasant 20°C. Perfect weather for a nice trot outside, assuming your assignment doesn’t involve shadowy dimensions or ponies with unsettling new quirks. That’s all for today’s Foundation News. Stay alert, stay vigilant, and maybe don’t volunteer for any Backrooms missions for a while, okay? I’m Dr. Amanda Royce, signing off.“
