Tality's a character whose sanity varies day-by-day. She presents herself differently to different ponies, sharing as much of herself as she thinks the other ponies can tolerate, as she's desperate for companionship, but has lived so long she can only share a tiny sliver of her story with any one pony in particular. it's not enough to quell the loneliness, but it's better than nothing.

I feel conflicted about it, but my social anxiety is severe and roleplaying is how I'm building up confidence towards commissioning an artist and/or developing my own art skills further. I don't feel too bad about it. This character has a lot of incarnations already, and this image reflects just her starting out. It's just my starting point. I hate the coercive nature of capitalism, how it compels us to work, and how AI is driving artists out of a job they loved and into poverty. None of what's happening is okay. But I can't change it either, the world bends to the whims of power, and it always has, and I want to fight it, but it's so much bigger than me! And while I want to commission an artist, I've never known what I wanted well enough to be able to describe it to my satisfaction. But giving a prompt to an AI was easy, to help me figure out what I wanted. I didn't expect it to give me pretty much exactly what I wanted, and now I'm stuck. It's like opening pandora's box, and once I've seen it, I can't put it away again. And on the other hand, the regression to the mean that is always present in AI art was an essential ingredient to giving her the blandness that I was looking for. In any case, this is a character that I plan to define more as I play her, and as I figure out who she is, I plan to commission and/or draw my own art of her in the future. This is just my starting point. The thing is, I've wanted to roleplay like this for decades, and not having a good conception of my characters was always the sticking point. AI Art has enabled me to break through, and I'm hoping at least for me, it will be the gateway to me meeting and supporting artists in the community. But for right now, I'm in the middle of a crisis and I just have to focus on myself right now. So I'm trying to just set aside my anxiety about using AI Art openly and just concentrate on putting myself out there and full-sending the character, and the art has given me the confidence to do that. I don't know. AI Art is a wonderful thing that was created by people who didn't value the difficulty of what creatives do. I hate that with a passion, but the business world has been sociopathic for a long time. In large part, that's why I'm in crisis right now. I can't bring myself to work again. To participate in a system that grinds people up just to make as much money as possible. I hate it. I hate it so much. But every gift modern society gives us is tainted with blood. I mean, on the other hand. It has given me the confidence to come totally out of my shell here. I actually feel happy and on an upward trajectory for the first time since I burned out at college two decades ago.
