((WARNING: ANIMAL ENDANGERMENT/ABUSE))
this is mostly for my own benefit, so i don't forget key aspects of these characters and who they are.
so basically, the Horde is what the group of alley cats Spinneret hangs with call themselves.  their primary goal is world domination, and the thing that unites them is their hatred of ponies.  save for one, each member was harmed by ponies in some way, and their names come from these incidents.  of course, being alley cats, world domination is a pipe dream.
-- FEATHERS --
commander and the leader.  greyish fur, golden eyes.  of all the members, she's the only one who knows what everyone went through.  her previous owners dropped her from a hot air balloon; she barely managed to survive by landing in a tree.  after this incident, she grew to hate ponies, and she began to seek out other discarded cats to recruit to her cause.  despite her villainous intentions, she cares deeply for every member of the Horde, and she considers them her family.  she's sympathetic towards other cats, but will not hesitate to insult any pony she sees.  not like they can hear her, after all.  she also has a crush on Opalescence but like, don't tell anyone.
-- SHRIMPTAIL --
second-in-command.  light pinkish fur, blue eyes.  as his name suggests, his tail was cut off by cruel foals.  he was the first cat found by Feathers.  as such, he is fiercely loyal to both her and the Horde.  he is also adept at card games; blackjack, poker, gin rummy, hanafuda...if it has cards, he's played it and crushed his opponents.  a deadpan snarker type, he always says what's on his mind when it's on his mind.  unlike Feathers, this applies to any creature unfortunate enough to be able to hear him.
-- POKER FACE --
fuzzy white fur, golden eyes.  his former owner was a gambling addict who lost him in a bet.  he's very reserved, as his name would suggest.  despite this, he's the only member of the Horde with a mate, as well as a kitten.  he is fiercely protective of his family, and would even put them above the Horde if necessary.
-- SALTINE --
brownish-grey fur, blue eyes.  prior to joining the Horde, she had to be treated in a veterinary clinic for poisoning.  this experience left her wary of pony food, but of all the members of the Horde, she is likely the one who hates ponies the least.  her mate is Poker Face, whom she occasionally calls "Pokey".  only she's allowed to call him that, though.
-- CEMENT --
dark grey fur, blue eyes.  his previous owner shoved him into a sack and tried to drown him in the river, leaving him with a severe fear of water.  despite (or because of) this, he has a strong preference for seafood -- the saltier, the better.  while the rest of the Horde will eagerly wolf down some sashimi, Cement would rather chew through a whole fish.
-- PACKAGE --
brown fur, green eyes.  she was left in a cardboard box by her previous family when it was discovered that she was actually a young Abyssinian.  as such, she has massive trust issues, and the constant fear that she will be exposed and abandoned by the rest of the Horde keeps her in line.  she can sort of speak Ponish, at about the level of a three-year-old pony.
-- CHEWTOY --
black fur, green eye.  her past in a dogfighting ring has left her severely injured, requiring her to wear several bandages that cover almost her entire body.  just the suggestion of a dog is enough to set her off; for this reason, Feathers keeps the alley free of canines.  speaking hurts Chewtoy, so when she talks, she uses as few words as possible.  not that it matters to those who can't hear her subsonic communications, of course.
-- CROSSBONES --
greyish fur, golden eyes.  the kit of Poker Face and Crossbones.  she is baby.  of all members, she's the most likely to grow attached to a pony, having never experienced cruelty at their hooves.
