The backstory of Sy sfw edition

Sy, otherwise known as Silent Scratch is the distant family member of Vinyl Scratch. He had adored his cousin and parents the most. After an incident happened to his parents he was sent to several family members before finally settling in an unsafe home where he was despised and framed. Given his household he soon ends up selectively mute and not understanding the concepts of love and friendship as the closest thing was his dear cousin. To avoid the harshness of reality he listened to music with his cousin during particular time frames when none of the other family members were around. He was a late bloomer and received his cutie mark after playing songs and luring a crowd. Once he was old enough he worked as a musician and lived on his own. Eventually with time and help from his cousin he opened up a bit and became a DJ and earning his shades. Although his job as a DJ was fun it still felt incomplete or uncomfortable so while using a small bit of his savings he bought a party worth of headphones that were connected to his turn tables and with the help of party ponies like Pinkie Pie he soon began the silent DJ trend in Ponyville. He gained confidence as he worked finally achieving his dream job goal. However, his other relatives would treat him horribly when it was a special day like his birthday or the anniversary of his family's passing. He uses his shades as a cover to protect his shy and cautious nature. In his spare time when not DJing he enjoys dressing up in drag and wearing his mother's old dresses looking more feminine. He's often mistaken for a female given his mane being so long and his shape. He will sometimes correct creatures unless he's all dressed up. His favorite item to wear is his mother's beautiful pearls. He continues on life hoping to make his parents proud until it's his time to go. Despite it all he pushes on if not for his parents sake then his dear cousin who adores him so. He hopes to change the negative life he's known into a positive one.
