I started writing some random horror lore myself, than stopped for lack of ideas.
A demi-goddess is only half fantastical. If we're being literal.
What about a champion of a god? Think Nephalem from Diablo 4, if you played it. Someone whose not fantastical in ANY way but is blessed by the gods or else given magical equipment.
