Over two months if memory is serving Nar correctly. With Scrappy coming into town to visit her parents, it was only natural that the band get together for a hangout.
Frontigua is no Shifty Sai's, but it's the closest they'll get here in Ponyville. With the lapse in visits, the band's usual booth has been taken by another group, leaving them to sit wherever they can find a booth. "I almost can't believe I missed this." Asuka sighs as she lazily places a salsa-laden chip in her mouth. Across the table, her brother shows considerable restraint by only dipping one chip into the bowl of cheese dip on the table. He shows less constraint when he starts to talk with food in his mouth. "Can't say I missed this at all. The restaurant that is. I did miss hanging out with everyone." Beside him, Cookie doodles on the activity sheet provided to her by the restaurant while ignoring the conversation of the grown ups around her.
The band holds idle chatter as they wait for the food to arrive. Mostly talking about new shows they're watching, games they're playing, or plans for their next TTRPG session. "You guys see that new campaign our fans have started on social media?" Juno asks during a lull in the conversation. The rest of the band shake their heads, causing Juno to continue. "Seen a bunch of posts lately of fans demanding we go on tour again. They're using a hashtag for it too. #OneMoreTour." He can tell by the looks on his bandmates' faces that they aren't on board.
Nar states what everyone else is thinking. "A bit too late for that. Not like we can just drop our lives to get up and tour right now." Juno shrugs his shoulders. "Yeah, I figured. Cookie's gotta go back to school in 2 months, and I don't think Asuka's work will let her off for a month or two like they did in Vanhoover." Scrappy joins in with a suggestion. "Maybe they might? Plus, Cookie could stay here with Autumn, or your parents, couldn't she?" Nar's rejection of the proposal is swift, and adamant. "And spend ANOTHER month, or more away from my pumpkin, and Autumn? No!"
Nar's reaction causes the conversation to die out for a brief moment. Juno breathes life back into it by making a half-hearted suggestion of his own. "Could just, bring them with us. Ponyville Elementary has an online school program doesn't it? Plus, we're not gonna be touring for a whole year or something. She'd probably only spend a quarter of the school year online, if that." Nar looks to Cookie to see what her response is. She hasn't been paying attention to a single word the grown ups have said. Regardless, it's not a terrible idea. He'll just have to get Cookie, and Autumn's opinion on it later. "I guess. We'll have to think on it some more, but for now-." Nar stops in the middle of his sentence to watch as the waiter approaches with the group's food.
The time for talking has passed! Now it's time to dig in! #rp
