He chose daffodils lilies and oleander with purpose ; all three of these plants are poisonous uniquely in their own ways, while he doesn't know much about this strange mare, he finds the beauty in their ability to destroy, to kill, just as amazing and bewildering as the beauty in hers. However, the ring situated on his horn, bearing four pairs of eyes with different colors marking their irises, does it seem to share his same excitement. In fact, the eyes that are situated on the ring seem extremely alarmed, each of the individual pupils facing the strange mare with dilated, wide, black irises. It's almost as if they have an expression that is easily identifiable even without a mouth, ears or creases in a face that could have been. The eyes change their days to the stallion he was all wrapped up in the romantic endeavor, and almost as if it was not disembodied eyes, it appears to want to speak but nothing can audibly be heard as the stallion seems completely distracted. Thaumaturgy's cloak is black with white lining, floor length, with a hood that is not covering his head, and above the lining on the cloak are eight sigils representing all of the schools of magic, and they are charged with his own magic so they can be pulled and used straight from his cloak if need be. On the front of his cloak where the fastening is, is a celestial seal ; a alicorn inside a sun, the symbol entirely golden. It represents that he has some sort of job relating to the princesses, Celestia in particular. The stallion looks up to view the mare, his eyes widening at her appearance. "I've..." There's something... primitive, animalistic about it, that he can't describe. A wolf, a hawk, a serpent of the dusted earth, something beautifully vile, somehow. A carnivorous accent of some sort, she has. Adrenaline is snaking it's way through his veins, but it's a feeling he doesn't understand, as if he were to be chased, but he doesn't see anything particularly dangerous about her at first glance. "....wanted to- to know if you'd like to come into the towns for a little bit. We have amazing carnivorous food if you've ever... tried it, in.. in Waketail. Or- or, Yonkaws..?"
