Status Update

Surely a perfect day for the christening of... View MoreIt was another picturesque day in the Crystal Empire. The sun was shining. The blue sky was sparse with fluffy clouds, and the wind was low out of the west. Surely a perfect day for the christening of a new vessel. The Empire had built a brand new airship, the Merqurius. This state of the art airship would be home to many, including the new captain Leslie Larimar.
Following the commissioning ceremony, an open house would be held, beginning with a public Q&A. Leading this Q&A was none other than Captain Larimar, clad in her dress whites, and her now characteristic black eye-patch, concealing her defunct left eye. Her one good eye seemed to adjust it's gaze down to a note-card she had held at the podium.
"Mares and Gentlecolts, My name is Captain Leslie Larimar. I am an Alumni at the Crystal Empire's School of Science, and worked with Prism Crystal Energy Solutions for many years. I want to take this time to thank you for attending this ceremony. Our research and development branch has been very active in taking great strides towards the betterment of our defense capabilities and commerce applications. I have personally overseen the production of this vessel, as well as it's engineering specifications, specifically it's power-plant, and armament. At this time we welcome you to ask any questions you may have for me, or regarding the newly commissioned vessel behind me."
With that, the crystal pony looked up and smiled a sort of forced smile one would put on to appease a crowd such as this. A colorful crowd it was indeed, literally and figuratively. Creatures from all over the region, even far beyond the boundaries of the Crystal Empire, had attended. #rp
