Tonight was no different form any other nig... View MoreA nice, warm cup of tea before bed was always one of Lord Amadeus Ridgewell II's favorite treats. Something to ease his tension, and help him sleep soundly. Tonight was no different form any other night. Amadeus sits inside his study sipping his warm tea while listing to the music of William Walton. After such an exhausting week with his duties he's been looking forward to the hunting trip he would take with some of the men of his estate tomorrow. The half-full cup of tea has just touched Amadeus' lips when the study's door is opened without so much as a knock. Amadeus pauses to look to the door, expecting to see someone holding a pitchfork and/or torch. Instead, his eyes meet the sunken eyes of his personal butler, Mr. Gaudell. "Lord Ridgewell, your presence is requested at the Harman residence at once." Mr. Gaudell never entered without knocking. Something was wrong. With a simple nod Amadeus sets down his tea, and quickly heads out of the study. By the time he's entered his carriage he's only wearing his evening coat, and loungewear. The carriage pulls up to a small, 1 story house 4 minutes later. There appeared to be a group of about 4 ponies around the house. Amadeus could hear the cries of a mare as he approached the house. The stallions pout front gave way to allow him inside. When Amadeus steps into the house his eyes are instantly drawn to the stallion lying on the floor. His skin is pale, his eyes open wide, but glassy, and his mouth agape as if in shock. He kneels down opposite to the man's wailing wife as his butler does his best to console the poor woman. Amadeus need only inspect the man for 3 seconds before he finds 2 small, but distinct holes in the man's neck. His mind quickly races to his studies. He looks to his butler, and then the stallions. "Mr. Gaudell, cancel my hunting trip tomorrow. The rest of you, close your windows, and keep your doors locked at night. Go together and tell the rest of the estate." Amadeus then looks back to the man lying stiff on the floor. "All of our lives are in peril." #rp
