Phoenix was rocketing through the skies like a bat out of hell. Following the lead mare were a few others chasing her through the skies. Each one trying to get ahead to catch her. Yeah, good luck with that! Phoenix reached a peak before diving down again, the wind buffeting against her, whipping her tail and mane behind her. She flew down through the clouds, along the ground and through the trees, before rocketing back up into the sky. Those giving chase tried their best to keep up, but one went from smelling the fresh air to sniffing the bark of a tree in an instant. Phoenix banked from side to side to bleed off speed for a moment before twisting about to look at her chasers. "What's wrong, feathers in a bunch? Flap harder, bird-brains!" Punching it, Phoenix bolted higher into the sky, pressing on the fuel, flapping harder and harder to break through the thinning layers of air. The rest couldn't keep up, choked on her smoke trail. One poor soul's eyes rolled up as he passed out from lack of oxygen. Hypoxia is no joke, and neither was falling from this height! Phoenix rolled through the air, almost pausing mid flight before diving back down. Redlining and screaming through the air, between the remaining few that'd been behind her. So close to one that her slipstream sent them into a wicked spinout, falling below and crashing into a cloud. Two remained, looking to each other and nodding. They dove after her, picking up speed. It was almost like they were catching up to the mare pretty quickly... Until her wings suddenly burst into a roaring flame, igniting the rest of her features as well! Her mane and tail glowing brightly, and a trail of pure fire following her. It was like she kicked on some sort of afterburners! Blasting ahead of them, the air around her rippling and bending, as if it was a rubber band being stretched to its limit, tighter and tighter until it could pull no more- KABOOOOOM! The sky exploded in fire, sparks, and smoke, reds and yellows blasting into the horizon as Phoenix beamed way out of sight of the two. Then again, the two were completely blasted away in the opposite direction from the immense force from the Sonic Phoenix Boom! Sonic Fire Boom? Phoenix flew in an arch, slowing her speed until she was just in front of the fireball behind her and struck a pose, framed perfectly before the immense glow. "Yeah, I am that fucking good!"
