AI will massively decrease the mental health of anyone who uses it for therapy. If anyone who reads this ever considers using AI for therapy, please don't. I don't recommend going to a human therapist either, but at least they are far less likely to make you less healthy.

I see AI as a tool, however just like power saws, it can be extremely dangerous, compounded when the user does not understand how it works nor how to use it. As a tangent note, I think anything that uses generative AI should be required to clearly label as such.
