She grew more nervous as the seconds ticked by, and almost spoke again before Hawk finally acknowledged her. Her eyes held recognition when he said Seafoam's name. It would explain alot. The big stallion, why he seemed like he'd been in alot of fights, that intimidating presence... Also at the mention of Seafoam, a little brown filly leapt onto the mare's back. This little one wasn't actually a pony foal, having fangs, a different facial structure, strange tuft ears, claws, and several large scars across her lower back, and no cutie mark. She held no reservation in speaking. "Mmmmoooooooooommm?" She prompted while bouncing the back of Lemon's green mane up and down. "Iiiiiisss hhheee ttaallkking aaabboouuuutt graaaaannndmmaaaa?" The filly's sentences carried in a slow slur despite her obvious bouts of energy. Her 'mother' didn't seem to find her speech unusual. Must be a condition. "H-he is Shen." She responded quickly before glancing back to the stallion outside. "Um, Seafoam is here--" She stopped before turning around. She'd nod silently, glance at Hawk, then step away from the door. It abruptly slammed shut in Hawk's face, leaving him outside with no explanation of what just happened. He'd only briefly here murmuring between two mares in the house before it got quiet. Just as he might wonder what to do next, Seafoam showed herself around the outside corner of the house and stood still. She chose his good side so that he could see her right away as she made herself known, and he could tell the expression of distaste on her face plain as day. Her slit eyes bore into his, pounding the question of 'Why?' at him without words. Why find her home? Why come here? Why trace her practically across Equestria? Her stance was unbalanced, in the sense that she was restraining herself from plowing into his shoulder and carrying him right into the Everfree Forest for round 2. Apparently he had very little time to explain himself before her temper got hold of her thinking.
