For me, I would say lasagna. My family makes it with el pato sauce and lemme tell ya, it changes the game.

For me, its reversed. Enchiladas. Whenever my family makes it, they change the recipe each and every time. When I make it, 99% of people will love it.

Unfortunately I cannot share as it is technically not my recipe but... My fiance has family who is true blue Italian. Their meatballs is physically the best I've eaten. I have not perfected the craft yet though.

If we're talking in my series? Jewel makes anything good with brazil nut seasoning. There's just... something magical about each dish she makes. And she's good, even for a bird! Now if we're talking in real life, my mom makes THE best green bean and tater tot casserole.

//ok ngl my sis makes good turkey chili which uses butternut squash instead of potatoes. Now if my ma was still around she had a good green chicken pozole that used green poblano chili (a few other things that I don't remember).
