View MoreObjects floated around Rosa, threatening to turn her from a standing mare to a much less standing one. It's been a while since she's fought anything, and she wasn't sure of Alex was going to make it to this fight. She always did state his jobs took priority over her own..."missions." That didn't stop her from missing the gunslinger in these moments. see what you want to see, fingertips wrapped around my heart She had this one, for now, all to herself. She crouched, took a deep breath, and awaited the dangers lurking above. The opposition remained steadfast, wanting to catch her off guard. Living a dichotomy of mother and nigh-assassin was wearing on her. I know yours is a wondering kind, cold blood when it opens and closes But the job was important. Another step closer to an end. A light that never would come. I'm a sickness inside your mind, and nothing can bleed when I'm frozen The first chunk of earth flew at her, and she leaped, planted herself on it, and jumped again. The next few came for her at once, and she dipped between, kicked off of one, and arched backwards over the second. Just in time to avoid the third, and with a spin she'd kick off of it. Can you feel me shivering, A growl from above proved she was doing it right. She still had it. She was still deadly. In the corners of your heart? And it scared her. A flash of Camille painted into her vision, and if it wasn't for the loud woosh of the next obstacle, she'd have been hit. Instead, she remembered something her own mother had taught her. Just a frozen memory to remind you of who we were

"Remember. You are dangerous on your own. You are the sword. The arrow. The poison. But all of that is nothing if you have nothing to protect. "So, my daughter, what do you have to protect?"

All this time I burned alive till you found someone else. "My...family..." she'd grunted out, eyes focusing once more. She landed on the last object and...with a deep breath...focus. Focus. She may not have the powers of the night sky anymore, but she was still a vampire. A creature of shadows. So every time you think of me... She opened her blood-red eyes and smiled. It was an evil smile. A lustful smile. Blood smelled...sweet. Can you feel me shivering The opponent didn't see it at first, but she wasn't alone. She was one, but of one stood many. Of many stood few, and of few remained just the one. She lunged, and vanished. Then from all sides, all at once, the opponent was hit. From above. Below. Beside. Front. Back. Right. Back front leftbackfrontlefttopbottom- The opponent's last sight was the battle scythe falling down. The many had spoken, the few had whispered, the one had enforced. All with a smile that bore deep. "Mom, stop!" The scythe hit nothingness, and Rosa's eyes snapped open. She was sitting on the porch of their home, Camille stood beside her with tears in her eyes. Rosa's foreleg was bleeding... when had that happened? Then she saw the blade across the porch. "A...blood lust..." she whispered. It was all a dream...but in that dream, it was real. Wasn't it? "Where are you going?" Camille simply hugged her before trotting off. "I'm getting dad..." She was a creature of habit, after all, and the Blood Lusts were getting worse.

View MoreTHWACK The loud sound of wood splitting could be heard echoing through the surrounding forest that enclosed the secluded, cozy looking home that sat alone with a trail of smoke flowing up from its chimney. The trees that surrounded the home were swaying gently with the breeze, the air cool and refreshing. Prying the axe blade free from the chopping block, Alexander rested the wooden handle over his shoulder as he picked up another block and set it down in the centre of the block. He had been home for the recent couple of days to be with his family and prepare their home for the approaching cold seasons. He had been spending a lot of time on the road as of late, sinking himself into his work which was evident by the bandaging he wore over his hooves. He was grateful to finally slow down a bit, even for a moment to just lick his wounds. <span style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%;">Lowering the axe, he eyed up his target before hoisting it up and over his head, coming straight down onto the log. He let the blade do the work, cleaving through the log and sending both halves toppling off the block and onto the ground where they joined the previous piece he had cut. </span> Leaning the axe up against the block, the raven maned stallion leaned down and picked up the chunks of wood, placing them into the near full carrier bag that sat nearby. He stacked them neatly before he folded the bag together and hoisted it up off the ground with ease. He seemed even more driven and dedicated to his training and staying strong these days, ever since they had Camille. He carried the bag back inside their home, entering through the back as he brought it over to the fireplace. He set the bag down and opened it up, pulling out two logs before he opened up their fireplace and tossed them in. He took a moment to sit by and soak up the lovely warmth, his chin lifting as his ear perked up when he heard commotion outside on the porch, specifically coming from Camille. Shutting the fireplace, Alexander stood tall and turned, pacing away from it. He began down the hallway and towards the front door. “Camille? Rosa?” He’d call to each of them, slowing to a halt when he found Camille trotting his way. It didn’t take long for him to be able to tell by her body language and expression something was off… “Something wrong? I just finished up outside and swore I heard you..” He took a step closer to her, glancing her up and down to see if she was hurt if any way.
