In fact, he's mana... View MoreAfter a whole week of demanding physical labor, Makabe is glad to finally be done with repairs. He's more than ready to take a day to rest, and start working on the farm afterwards. In fact, he's managed to get most of today to rest with his family. That is, until there's a knock at his door, just as dusk was rolling around. When Makabe opens the front door, he finds Dusty waiting for him. "Evenin' Mr. Makabe. The folks in town heard about the repairs being finished, so they wanted to throw you a little 'moving in' party." Makabe smiles, but he's not sure he's willing to party at the moment. After all, it's been a pretty exhausting week. "Oh, well, thank you dusty, but I'm not sure I could accept. After all, wouldn't that be a big hassle for everyone to come all the way out here?" "No trouble at all. It's only a 10 minute walk from town, and everyone's already here. Best not to keep 'em waiting." Sure enough, when Makabe exits his house, he sees a large group of around 50 or so people outside of his barn, setting up for a party. There are many tables filled with food, and drinks, all sorts of activities, and even a band setting up. Wait, how did they get a PIANO all the way out here?! Better yet, how did all these people get on his property without he, or his family noticing?! He's given no time to question Dusty, as Dusty pokes his head into his house, and shouts for the rest of the family. The moment Johnny sees a party, he's once again full of energy. Makabe still needs some time to process everything, so Dusty takes little Johnny over to the barn while Zevanah helps Makabe compose himself. By the time the two enter the party, the band has already begun their set, starting with "Foggy Mountain Breakdown." Someone thrusts a glass into Makabe's hand, and bids him to drink, while another man approaches him to shake hands, and welcome him. Throughout the night, Makabe and Zevanah meet their new neighbors, eat food, and play games while Dusty accompanies Johnny around the party. Makabe never thought the people of a little town like Appaloosa could party so hard. This little shindig could give a Manehatten party a run for it's money. After sundown, Johnny is put to bed, but the party continues. Dusty heaves a content sigh as he leans against the farm's fence, and sips a glass of whiskey. "Ain't nothin' like a good ol' barn raisin' party. Been a looooooong time since we've have a shindig like this'un." He then turns to the nearest partygoer, tipping his hat in greeting. "Howdy friend. Enjoyin' the party?" #rp
