From the significance of the town someone lives in, or from the way someone looks at a friend or partner. The significance of day to night, and from warm to cold, down to the details of every raindrop. Sometimes, it's a simple as a little connection to a place or thing. And in that connection, within that significance, is found true realization. Realizing that love is powerful, that time is fast, and that life is short. Everyone spends their lives in their own ways. Whether it is singing a song with a band or writing a novelette. By leading an entire country or by trying to protect it to the bitter end. From spell casters that use magic on the daily to those that use their fists to tell their stories. Life is dark and gruesome, but life is also beautiful in this way. The light buried deep beneath the shadows that always tries to break back through. Light, in essence, is hope. Light leads us along the path of our destinies, but light does not judge. Sometimes, destinies change, and sometimes they lead us across crumbling bridges. Through fellowship, through friendship, through love is the only way to pass these bridges and find a moment of peace. A moment of tranquility. On this day, the groomsman and bridesmaids made their way down the aisle of a warm, sunny park. Decorations adorning, flowing whites with accented golds. Just enough to not feel gaudy, but enough to feel the warmth that radiated inside. The music playing softly, gentle, a background melody to carry the way. On the right side, Ryuji, Steeltrap, and Juno staging from right to left respectfully. Juna the best man of the evening. On the left stood a young girl named Eve - who is Autumn's cousin - followed by Asuka and then Hiari in left-to-right order. Autumn having asked Hiari to be her maid of honor. Probably many questions to be had to as why, but surely that's something more between them. Next would be Nar and his parents accompanying him down the aisle, a share of bond between them as he reaches the others before his parents join the rest of his family and friends to the right. Cookie was given the most important job of all. Not only did she get to lead the way for the bride to come, throwing out petals of flowers, but she held the two rings. She'd join by Nar's side at the end, surely excited and sharing smiles up at him. Probably not quite reaching the excitement the stallion is feeling. Especially when the brides music begins to play. Autumn had never been one to dawn fancy, flashy white dresses or to look the part. She insisted that she and the brides maids all wear more similar dresses. Each one representing a season. Her cousin in whites and blues for winter, Asuka in spring colors with warm vibrant greens that, astonishingly, worked well for her. Hiari was given summer, but adjusted to fit her just like Asuka's were for her. Finally, Autumn wearing, well, none other than a beautiful autumn-colored dress. She walked with her father - her mother much too emotional to accompany her - down the aisle. She didn't move quickly, but she didn't drag behind. At the end, her father gave her a tight hug, shook Nar's hand, and found his seat beside Autumn's mother. And just because she could, yes, Caramella was the officiant. Who knew she had that license? But she wasn't there to be flashy, she was there to join two lovers in holy matrimony. Autumn facing Nar, their hands interlocked. The words spoken came and went like a blur, even though it felt like hours. Cara would begin, "Hello, everyone, and welcome. Today is a perfect day, a chance to let two doves from different flocks fly together. I haven't been there for their first moments together, but from what I heard, it was not just love, but fate at first sight. There is a significance in fate and love, just as there is a significance in chance and destiny. As there is a significance in melody and harmony. Not everything is as cut and dry, but with the right note, or the right word on a page, you can create something more beautiful than even the Sun above." "So we gather today for the joining of one Nar Yakushi, and one Autumn Bow. Two parts to a song that has yet to meet its crescendo."

Vows. Promises. Words that are more binding than even dawn and dusk. Shared between two who have had their few ups, and many downs. The "I Do's" that set precedence in legality. A sweet young girl providing the symbolic binds, the rings, and a couple placing the ring on their partner's finger. The final words of the officiant, just as a nail is placed in a coffin in one place, a new chapter is begun somewhere else. "With the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss." For two hearts, there was no other person in the world. For just a moment, a kiss was shared. For just a moment, the ceremony lasted forever. Then, with a slow separation, the ceremony ended and the reception begun. And yes, Cara was going to sing at least one song for the couple. She just couldn't help herself! Not this song, though.
