View MoreWhile most families would spend their New Years celebrating together, the Yakushi family, unfortunately, would not be able to this year. It's been three days since the eldest daughter of the family, Asuka, went missing, and there's been no sign of her showing back up. On top of that, the Ponyville Police Department has yet to find any leads as to what may have happened to her. Throughout the day, Nar, Hiari, and Juno have been searching around Ponyville for any clues as to what may have happened to Asuka. They'd spit up early in the morning, and agreed to meet back home at six PM. Though, despite their best efforts, the group is no closer to an answer than when they started. Now, with the sun setting over the town, it was time for Nar to start heading back home. He knows that he won't be able to take a certain street home because of road work, and the detour would take a while. Though, if he's remembering correctly, there should be an Astral Highway door a few blocks down that should take him much closer to his house. The only issue was that Nar couldn't remember exactly where the door is, and with the E.S.E.E dissolved, nobody was maintaining the torches they used to use to guide each other. Well, he did have a spell that was supposed to find the torches, but he's not sure if it would even work. The torches inside the AHS should be able to stay lit of their own accord, thanks to how weird the place is, but the ones outside would need constant maintenance to keep them active. Regardless, Nar decides to cast the spell. A faint, blue glow grows atop his horn, and after a few seconds, is released into the air. The glow then coalesces into a stream, which then begins to float the direction opposite of where Nar was expecting it to go. He follows the glow for a few blocks before turning a corner to find an empty alleyway. For a moment, he's stunned in confusion, as the glow makes its way down the alleyway. Before Nar is able to regain his composure, the glow appears to form around something on the alley's back wall. After a moment, the glow dissipates, revealing a lit torch, with a bright, blue flame. What the hell? Firstly, there isn't a door there, and secondly, who's been keeping this torch lit? More importantly, why was it invisible? HOW was it invisible? Still confused, Nar approaches the torch. If it had been invisible, then maybe the door was too? Figuring it was worth a shot, Nar reaches out to feel for a handle, only for his hand to pass into the brick. Actually, it didn't feel like there was anything there at all. At least, until his hand meets solid wood behind the bricks. He feels around the wood for a moment before his hand comes across the cold metal of a doorknob. With a slow turn, and a light pus, the wood swings inwards, and Nar steps through the bricks, and unknowingly through the threshold of an Astral Highway door. #rp
