View MoreWith the sun having long since set, and the street lights having come on, Vanhoover's nightlife comes alive. Graveyard shifters commute to work, while the youth of the city gather in clubs and bars to party the night away. Like many other cities across Equestria, Vanhoover never truly sleeps. On Vanhoover's 'party street', crowds gather to await entry to many of the various clubs along it. Along the outskirts of the crowds, a group of friends shuffles along towards their favorite dance club. The group of young adults converses idly, while the line ahead moves agonizingly slow. One of the group appears to stop in the middle of her sentence. When the others question her, she answers with one of her own. "Do you guys hear some sort of whine? Like, a computer fan, or motor?" The others grow silent. Sure enough, a high pitched whine can be heard from down the sidewalk. Even stranger is how fast it's approaching. The group turns their heads just in time for a figure to hop up onto the railing beside them. With the speed the figure is traveling, the group nearly gets whiplash trying to follow it. Upon closer inspection, one of the group determines that the figure is a person on some sort of rollerblades. Whoever it is, they're definitely going over the speed limit for this street. Which is impressive, considering he seems to be able to avoid smashing anyone's hands by hoping, and re-positioning during his grind. "Holy shit!" One of the others calls out. "That was the bassist for Attack on Mango!" Instantly, phones are pulled out. The group tries to snap a picture of the rollerblading bassist, but he's too far by the time they manage to get their cameras open. The whines of Nar's motorized rolleblades exit the party street just as quickly as they had arrived. With blistering speed, Nar blazes through the streets of Vanhoover, only ever slowing down to make turns, or stop for stoplights. Once Nar reaches a small office building, he removes a package from his satchel, and slips it into the building's mail slot. A sigh escapes the courier's lips, accompanied by his arm coming up to wipe sweat from his brow. "Alright. No more nighttime delivery contracts." Nar huffs. "I'm going to demolish my sleep schedule if I keep this up." #rp
