I tried to get into it, but I didn't like it as much as the original. A lot of the world building didn't make sense to me (particularly how Stable 99 was allowed to exist to begin with), Blackjack seems totally unlikable, it feels like a lot of the violence and graphic detail in the story is there for nothing more than shock value, and there were too many unneeded references to mechanics in Fallout that would make no sense in universe. I managed to make it to the point where Glory is disowned by the Enclave and went all emo before putting the book down. I see a ton of people praising this work. Am I missing something? (Feel free to give minor spoilers to explain what I am missing).

A few gunshots soon followed and cries of pain followed those, when suddenly a burst of magic and a pony appearing from mid air and then running away from the makeshift raider dominated settlement in an old train yard. The crudeness of the raider buildings in the trainyard was only matched by the rusty railroad running along the ground leading to a nearby tunnel where most of the raiders slept and a buggy-esque vehicle with train wheels instead of the traditional all-terrains sat dormate in the shadows. This would be the origin of the unnecessarily loud sound, that and the raider chief kicking on said buggy, cussing at the slightly smoking engine like an angry trucker as if it will help to get the rusty vehicle to move. The chief stopped kicking after a bit, and took a gander at the distant pony running off into the darkness of night and let out an angry sigh before walking back into the shadows of the tunnel not to be seen again. Zoom back to the daring pony running off, with a sigh Twisted said "Of course the raiders would happen to find me...the one time they are able to detect shit..." he grumbled as he walked to a nearby rock sitting on it, staring back at the now distant settlement. He would groan as his fore-hooves pried open his saddle bag and he scowered through his rather minimal belongings finding an old scrap of dried leaves and eating it. He then took out what looks like a deck of cards with visible glowing along the markings on the cards shuffling them a bit counting the deck to see how many he had used in the daring escape "29, 31, 32, 33..." he sighed, he was 20 cards short of a full deck. After a moment he put the cards away and got up off the rock and continued into the night again searching for a non-raider controlled settlement.

So, someone has given me the advice to do make my story a lot better, and well I am working 110% now, so tell me this is this better at all? Or is there more I should do with this? My body spasmed as I jumped up screaming my body was sweating, and my wings were flared out wide my body still felt the pain, but as each second passed my mind became hazy of what the dream was, or what happened in it, it was like the memories I couldn't recall of my past. Today was a better day than any other because I had to work on making this office look top notch for whoever was going to beat me in elections. But I could cut it off for a few days, of course, I looked around as I finally had a thought and decided to do a little sniff test on myself and, yuck, I don’t think gagging was a good indication, so I concluded the best course of action was to shower. My best option had to be at least be presentable for everypony, considering my role as their overmare.
