In front of her is The Keeper, and a man dressed in heavy w... View MoreThrough the snow covered woods of Mount Lunae, three figures trudge. In the back of the trio is Jade Yakushi, 27 y/o daughter of The Keeper. In front of her is The Keeper, and a man dressed in heavy winter clothing. The Keeper guides the trio as Jade recounts a recent run-in with 'the figure.' "Again, I can't thank you enough for your help, Mr. Tomes." States The Keeper. The man adjusts the prescription winter goggles on his face. "Tis no bother, Ms. Yakushi. Mount Lunae is a fascinating place. Your guests come here for many reasons, but I assume being watched by something unknown is not one of them." Behind the two, Jade speaks up. "There. I think it was that tree there." Her hand comes up, pointing towards a particularly large tree in the distance. The only sounds that can be heard are the crunch of snow, and soft wind. The Keeper is the first to round the aforementioned tree. Next, is the man, who let's out a soft "Aaaah." Before the trio, directly within the tree, rests a blue door. It features a golden doorknob, and a glowing, white star. "I see." The man begins. "It appears this 'figure' may be using Subspace to get around. Hence, why it seems to disappear as quickly as it appears." At this, the two other members of the trio express confusion. "Allow me to elaborate." The man begins again. "This door connects to a plane of existence different from our own. It intersects with our plane through these doors, allowing creatures from our plane to pass between the two. This door is connected to a highway within, which in turn, is connected to one, or more highways within subspace. Using these highways, one can cover great distances in our plane in fractions of the time it would take normally. Thus, why the figure appears in so many different places so quickly." After a few moments of silence, The Keeper speaks. "So. This figure is using another plane of existence to survey the resort. Do you think they might be plotting something?" To this, the man turns towards the door. "There's no way of knowing yet. Allow me to conduct some surveillance on the resort for a few days, then I will begin expeditions into Subspace to see if I cannot catch this figure during it's travels." The Keeper nods. "Of course, Mr. Tomes. If there's anything we at the resort can do to help, please let us know." The man cracks a smile under his scarf. "A steady supply of cookies to keep me energized should suffice." The trio then share a laugh as they turn to head back to the resort. #rp
