Sitting at one of the large rectangular tables are 5 unicorns. Buffley, and Augury sit on one side while a set of three unicorns sits across from them. Arcana stands at the head of the table using an illusion projector to project an image of an expansive compound in a desert. "Our target is the head of the so called 'Children of the Archangel.' She is considered to be highly skilled in the arcane arts, and is suspected to have potential ties with an otherworldly patron. This means we may possibly be dealing with a warlock, and not a wizard." The illusion changes to display a blurry photo of a mare dressed in a fine cloak. "The target is suspected to reside in the third sub-level of the facility. Undercover agents claim each level of the facility corresponds to a level of arcane proficiency those who dwell within it possess. Police units will aid in the initial infiltration of the ground level of the facility. Tactical teams will aid us in the first sub-level, but after that we're on our own." Arcana looks to the three new unicorns before speaking again. "Once we clear the second sub-level you three will contact tactical teams to help secure the sub-level, and escort suspects to the surface. The RMRT will enter the third sub-level alone." Arcana pauses for a moment before asking "Are there any questions?" One of the three unicorns speaks up. He's an artificer, with a mechanical front right leg. "Yeah. Why just you guys after the second sub-level?" Arcana responds "You were sent to us by the Society to Protect Magic, but you are not certified police officers. The inherent risk of loosing three of Equestria's best spell casters that are not alicorns is too great to allow you to accompany us to the lowest sub-level." The second newcomer, a female divination wizard, then speaks. "Are you sure it will be safe to go in by yourselves?" Arcana shakes her head. "It's quite possible there will be other casters just as skilled as our target in the third sub-level. More than likely we will not be able to avoid casualties." The third speaks up. The paladin in his heavy armor nearly springs up from his seat. "Please allow us to aid you further! Our assistance could only increase the chances of success!" "And possibly lead to the loss of greatly powerful, and influential casters. Without you, Equestria would suffer. I assure you my team is more than capable of carrying out our task." The room falls silent. After some time Arcana dismisses the meeting. "We'll meet back here in three days. We'll set out to the compound then." As the paladin stands he clutches his holy symbol, and mutters a prayer. "May Pholtus' light guide us."
