View MoreAnother holiday, another day of the Yakushi family giving to their community. After lunch with the extended family, Kisho, and his family retire to his restaurant to prepare for their family tradition. At around 3 PM, the restaurant is opened, and all are invited to spend their holiday with Kisho, and his family. In the front, Betty, and Hiari take orders, while little Cookie helps bring drinks to tables. In the back, Kisho, Nar, Asuka, and Juno cook meals together. Their banter, and laughter audible even in the dining room. "Oap! Oap! Oap! Opa!" Through the small serving window into the kitchen, Nar can be seen flipping an egg up into the air with a spatula. After three flips, he catches the egg with the spatula, then cracks it open over a mound of rice. Behind him, Asuka looks over her shoulder, then jerks her thumb to her right. "Habachi place is 10 blocks that way, Nar. You should apply." The sarcasm in her voice is audible, even in the dining room. "Oh please." Snorts Juno from beside Nar. "As if he's good enough to be a chef there." As the three banter, Kisho quietly works away at various different stations, a pleasant smile on his lips. "Whatever. You're about to become an old man anyway." Says Asuka, in response to a particularly biting tease from her brother. "27 is not old!" Nar shouts back. "Whatever, Grandpa." Says Juno, rolling his eyes. A large smirk upon his lips. Asuka joins in with a "Okay, Mr. Krabz." To this, Nar slumps his head in defeat. He has no retort. After coming inside, and finding a seat, you are approached by Kisho's wife, Betty, who places a special menu down in front of you. She smiles warmly, and greets you with "Happy Easter(whatever the MLP equivalent is)! Would you like anything to drink?" Notably the menu isn't as varied as it usually is, but the prices are 'pay what you are able/willing.' On top of that, a cork board sits next to the front door with various orders that have already been paid for those who can't pay. Not that Kisho wouldn't serve you if you couldn't pay. Nobody goes hungry on his watch! #rp
