At the very least... View MorePolice Lieutenant Lokin finds himself in deep thought as he makes his way home for the night. He'd managed to get some information on the December Ninth incident, but it wasn't much. At the very least, now he has a timeframe, and he knows what the RMRT was originally there to do. At 8:43 PM, the team confronted a suspect they had been tracking for years. A nasty butcher of a unicorn who was known as 'The Unicorn Killer.' Sick son of a bitch who'd murdered dozens of innocent civilians, all for the crime of being born a Unicorn. Apparently he had some sort of ideology that dictated who he killed, but Lokin never heard much about him. The RMRT was incredibly tight lipped about the whole thing. At 8:50 PM the bastard cast some sort of devastating spell, and the RMRT had to fight the guy for nearly an hour without any backup. Then, at 9:26 their team lead reported the suspect in custody. EMS records report that one of the team was a charred corpse when they got there. Young officer named Augury or something. From what he'd heard, the Paramedics suspected it was some sort of flame spell gone wrong. Something about the guy's horn being burnt the worst. Another team member, and the team lead were unconscious, but suffered moderate injuries, and the last team member was just gone. Nowhere to be found. On top of this case, Lokin's been hearing about a vigilante running around the city now. Some sort of powerful unicorn who's been randomly showing up to stop street crime every night. There aren't any pictures, or videos of the guy, just accounts from paranoid witnesses who say the guy looks like a walking corpse. Some say they see other corpses with him, but they all say that the guy takes the criminals with him when he attacks them. To date, the department hasn't found any of the guy's victims. Not even with the help of the Lunars have they been able to catch the guy. It's like he has eyes and ears all over the damn city, and just knows when he needs to bug out. One of the undercover guys came back to the station yesterday, and he had quite a bit to tell us. This vigilante's got the criminal underworld spooked. Gangs are beefing up their security on their operations to keep from loosing any more of their guys. They're telling stories about this dude around poker tables like boy scouts telling scary stories around a campfire. They're calling him the 'Vigilitch', and from what the undercover guy told us, he's got top brass in some of the local gangs shitting bricks. Wish we could just leave the guy be, since he's a huge help for us, but he's not a LEO, so he's gotta go. Lokin just hopes this guy doesn't decide to turn his attention toward the police once he's done with the gangs. #rp
