View MoreWith the firm taking on it's biggest case yet, everyone in the Yakushi and Associates Law Firm was pulling extra hours to keep up with all the work. It's been 4 days since Betty last saw her husband. The time away was killing her, but they both understood that she needed to focus on her work at the moment. When you were going up against as big of a legal team as the Stallmart Corporate team, you had to work non-stop. Compared to the likely dozens of lawyers working in this case for Stallmart, Betty only had herself, her partner, and a few paralegals. They were outmatched, outfunded, and in way over their heads, but Betty made a promise that she'd get restitution for the employees the company had wronged. This morning, as Betty sips a fresh cup of black tea, she reads over various emails related to the case. Halfway through, Betty finds an email from one of her paralegals. One of the inspectors she'd gotten into contact with had sent over some security tape videos, and inspection papers to help with the case. At first, Betty goes over the inspection papers. The inspectors managed to find a few glaring issues with a particular processing plant which handled the companies branded food products. Mostly in the meat processing area. Then, Betty pulls up the first video in the folder. It appears to be a stitch of the 3 other videos in the folder. Two videos sit atop a third, showing different angles of the meat processing area of the production plant. The top right shows a production floor, with some sort of heavy machinery to the right, with the top out of frame. The top left shows what looks to be an entrance to a catwalk above the machinery of the production floor, and the bottom shows a part of the catwalk above what looks to be some sort of industrial meat grinder. On the production floor, employees appear to be working, as someone enters the catwalks on the top left video. The person looks to be a mid-level employee of some kind. He appears to perform some form of visual inspection of the machinery below him. Around 10 minutes in, the employee enters the frame of the video in the top right. As he goes to lean slightly over the railing to inspect the grinder, the catwalk appears to shift, and he turns around to try and grab on to the other railing. The employee's clipboard plummets into the grinder below as the catwalk's supports for the front side appear to snap, causing the catwalk to suddenly become vertical, as the employee appears to scream for help while hanging on to the railing. Employees in the top right frame begin to rush towards the machine, likely to attempt to shut it off. Betty knows what's coming next. In the back of her mind, she wants so desperately to look away, but she can't. She needs to be 100% certain. After a few seconds of the employees trying to turn the machine off, one begins to sprint out of view, waving his arms, and yelling. Then, in the bottom video, the man's grip suddenly slips. Betty watches as the man falls into the grinder below, and disappears from view. It's only when there's a knock at her office door that Betty realizes she's been staring at her screen for 10 minutes now. She calls out to let the person in, to find her partner, holding a folder in his hands. It seems the private investigator they hired found a few things. #rp
