Just imagine I sent this on Valentines day. Usually, Hearts and Hooves dates happened at a restaurant, park, or other 'romantic' locale. While that wouldn't be the case for these two, Nar was determined to make this holiday as special as he could for Autumn. Nobody wants to spend a holiday in the hospital, but they would make do. Practically as soon as visiting hours begin, the door to Autumn's hospital room opens, and who shuffles in but Nar. His face lights up the moment he lays eyes on her. After taking a moment to close the door behind him, he shuffles over to her bedside for a hug, and to kiss her cheek. "Happy Hearts and Hooves. Didn't think I was just going to skip it, did you?" With a light chuckle, he moves over to the bedside table to place a small glass vase filled with a few flowers on it. Instead of the typical roses, it's a mixture of sunflowers, and orange Freesia. "I tried to put some thought into the bouquet, but unfortunately I'm not the best with flowers." Then, Nar reaches into his satchel to remove two more items. The first is a more stereotypical gift. A bunch of chocolates wrapped in a package shaped like a heart. This, he places next to the flowers. The final item is a rather large set of books in an ornate case. "I figured you'd probably get bored with the few TV channels that have in your room, so I brought you a book series I thought you might like. Managed to snag this collectors edition box set, just for you." From a glance at the box, it looks to be some sort of romance novel with an urban fantasy spin. This, he sets closer to her bedside. After revealing all of his gifts, Nar pulls a chair up to the side of the bed, and places a hand on the railing. "How are you feeling? No chronic pain? Any trouble with your vision? Are you eating well?" Nar stops himself before he continues. He laughs, then shakes his head, accompanied by a goofy smile. "Aw man, I sound like Asuka." #rp
