I am the kind of RPer that does multi-para to novella posts... however, I don't expect partners to always match my style for post lengths. Long posts come when there is a lot of stuff to work with. Once upon a time I could write 1500 word replies. I remember that time.
I always hated it. If you can convey the same motion, action and feelings in a single paragraph, then why write 6? Short roleplay can either mean they're an incredible writer, or a terrible one, and that's the true trouble.
