This'll be anthro// Creeping vines and ashened veils to hide faults. Whispering deaths and sorrowed rays of light filtering through treetops. Yet, unmistakable, remained the mission. Enchanted and upgraded gauntlets lead the way for a mission of fire. To burn down every wannabe god, before they can harm anymore innocent souls. A glowing chasm, depths home to the wavering souls of many cries for help. Cries that Camille will answer. She hung by one hand from a branch, her the rest of her weight pressed into the very same tree. She doesn't belong higher, she doesn't desire lower. She desires balance. Balance, much like red and blue. Black and white. Light and dark. But in the wavering balance lies one truth to her, a art of a mission that she found for herself: where good and evil meet, there is no difference. Power belongs in all, the many, not the few. The lithe mare let out a low, uncanny whistle as her target approached. Like a whispered bird call, it faded into the wind, but the target still heard. The target looked about, holding their lantern up in a vain attempt to cast light in the dark. Nothing could be seen. The whistle came again. They could feel a presence, chilling in their bones, aching deep within. Something is lurking, and it was ready to present itself. They draw their sword, ready to fight. Taking a defensive stance, and in fairness, Camille gave them that opportunity. Then, in a flash, their lantern caught something approaching. Casting a glow over the face of a certain pair of eyes. Red of the dark, blue of the day. And tonight, that red was brightest. The moon seemed to warn them, a glazed hue of orange and red. They stood there, paralyzed, hopeless. Their time in power has fallen, and so shall they. Camille held out a hand, beckoning them closer. As they approached, as you approached, you see the sly smirk on her muzzle. It was too late. Your sword shattered, along with many blades before it, and the heavy weight of a gauntlet met your gut. In that instant, all magic you have ever known was drained away. You had been marked for the hunt, now you're nothing. "Non es gratis. "Semper sub custodia mea."
