To scope out her band's merch selection in all the c... View MoreToday, Asuka finds herself alone in Vanhoover's largest shopping mall. She wore a small sun hat, sunglasses, and a simple hoodie. Why was she here? To scope out her band's merch selection in all the clothing, and pop culture shops. Why the disguise? She didn't want to be bothered for autographs. Where were her bandmates? Talking with their new agent to get tour preparations underway. In fact, Asuka was going to be there with them, but Juno sent her on this mission to gauge how popular their merch was. After searching most of the department, and clothing stores of the mall Asuka is certain their merch is selling well. Most employees she talked to of these stores said something to the effect of "We've had to order triple what we usually do. We sold out completely the week they hit #8." Now, Asuka makes her way into the mall's largest pop culture store. It was like Hot Topic, except not nearly as emo. The first thing she notices is the display in their front window. It features cutouts of her, Juno, and Nar, alongside tons of their merch displayed. Above the display is a sign which reads "Attack on Mango merch sold here!" Well, that's a good sign at least. Still weird to see her band's merch used as a display to get people to come into a store. It still hadn't hit her just how popular they actually were. Upon entering, Auka finds that a good quarter of the store has been dedicated to her band's merch. Mostly t-shirts, hoodies, and hats, but also posters, some keychains, and of course, a ton of digital media. They had a TV playing recordings of their shows on loop near the tour recording DVDs As Asuka browses, she spots a group of teenage mares all oogling one of the framed posters of Juno on the wall. "Oh my god." One starts. "I was really hoping they'd have the signed one." She pouts. Another speaks up as she takes one of the shirts off of the clothing rack. She holds it up to her chest, and tilts her head to the side. "Hey. Do you guys think I could turn this into a tank top?" Wait. They're not selling tank tops? Holy fuck, Asuka needs to tell Juno about that idea. Another teenager answers. "Yes! You'd look so cute in it too!" The other teenager giggles in response. "You think so?" She then twirls in place. Okay. Her skirt was WAY too short. Asuka looks away, but continues to listen to the teenagers converse as they browse. Eventually, they get to one of the band's posters with all three members in it. They talk for a moment before the oldest of the group quiets them down. "Okay. How about this. I'll count to three, and at the end, we all say which one is the hottest." Wow. Really? In public? Asuka HAS to hear this. Even though she knows they're all going to say Juno. The oldest teenager counts down from three, and at the end, 5 of the 6 teenagers all blurt "Juno!" However, the last one, a fairly shy mare with an obvious rainbow armband says "Asuka." The others impishly pester the poor girl as she tries to retreat behind the clothing racks. At this point, Asuka walks behind the shy mare, acting as though she was simply passing by. As she does so, she leans in, and quietly tells the shy mare "She's too old for you honey. Maybe in a few years." She seems to recognize Asuka's voice right away, and appears to shut down entirely. It's at this point that Asuka decides to leave the store, and hit the food court. Best to leave before she tells her friends the drummer for her favorite band is here. #rp
