Th... View MoreThe score is two to one. One more loss, and Attack on Mango will lose the battle of the bands. Which means they can kiss their fame, and likely the band as a whole, goodbye. Not their money though. They would get to keep that. They have to win this next challenge, and force a tiebreaker, or it's all over for the group of friends. Well, not really, but it sure felt like that was the case for Asuka. Luckily for her, it was their turn to decided the challenge. Just like the 3 times before, Attack on Mango, and Dragonautica stand on opposite sides of the grand stage of the Glorian Amphitheater. A stallion in a sparkling, dark blue suit stands between them while addressing the crowd below, those watching from all over the city, and even all over Equestria. Following a bombastic introduction, filled with dramatic tension, the host finally turns the microphone over to Attack on Mango as he asks "So, Attack on Mango! How do you plan to stay in this battle? What challenge have you devised to stay alive?" There's a moment's pause. Nar grabs the microphone, but holds off on speaking for a few more seconds to add to the tension. The crowd lulls into murmurs, and whispers. Everyone trying to guess what the challenge will be. "Well, we gotta make this one interesting, yeah?" Nar begins. "Even if we lose, we can't go down without giving everyone a show worth watching. After all, that's what everyone's watching for, right?" A devious smirk then worms it's way onto his face. "So, we're gonna give our fans something worth remembering. Regardless of if we win, or lose. We challenge Dragonautica to a skate race through the old industrial district." Cheers erupt from the crowd. Asuka inspects the faces of Dragonautica closely. She becomes mildly concerned when none of their faces change. Either they're REALLY good at acting, or they genuinely aren't concerned they'll lose this. Her focus is broken when the host asks Nar to elaborate on the rules of the race. "Three on three. Different style for each member of the teams. Each team will have one person on a skateboard, one on rollerblades, and one flyer. Course will be decided by a third party as to not provide an unfair advantage to either team. Same rules as stated in the first challenge. No serious injuries, or beyond. First team to have a member cross the finish line wins." The grin Ryuji sports begins to unnerve Asuka. He seemed far too eager to accept this challenge. Which was a big problem, since the band had let Nar chose this challenge in the hopes he'd pick something Dragonautica wouldn't be able to beat them in. "Sounds like a hell of a time." Ryuji states, with a puff of fire from his nostrils. "I'm fired up just thinking about it! Hell yeah we accept!" The crowd erupts into cheers once more. The host bounds to the front of the stage to give a bombastic speech about how 'awesome', and 'climactic' this race is going to be. Asuka shares a look with her bandmates. Ruby, and Juno seem to share some of the concern she feels, but Nar is grinning from ear to ear. He's the only one excited at the moment, but Asuka would expect no less from him. Rollerblading was practically part of his personality, and he was always a show-off when it came to it. This is the perfect opportunity for him to show off to the whole city, even if he's risking the band's existence in the process. #rp
