It's been three days since Nar returned home now, and Asuka hasn't seen him since he first walked in the door. She, and the rest of the band have been bringing him food, and drinks regularly, so they ... View MoreIt's been three days since Nar returned home now, and Asuka hasn't seen him since he first walked in the door. She, and the rest of the band have been bringing him food, and drinks regularly, so they know he's at least eating, and drinking. He hasn't communicated with them beyond single word, written notes he leaves on the plates after he finishes the food they bring him. It's starting to really worry Asuka. As dinner time rolls around, Asuka takes a plate of tonight's dinner, Chicken Alfredo, downstairs, along with a bottle of Nar's favorite cream soda. When she reaches the door to Nar's room, she places the food, and drink in front of it, and gives the door a knock. "Hey Nar. I brought you dinner. We made Chicken Alfredo. I also brought you some cream soda. We went out and got it yesterday, just for you." Asuka turns to head back upstairs, only to stop when she hears the door open. Usually, Nar waits for them to go back upstairs before he comes out to grab his food. "Asuka." Nar calls out from behind the door. His voice is low, weak, and slightly hoarse. "You can come in." Surprised, Asuka pivots back around to face Nar. She can't quite make out his face behind the crack in the door, but he does open it wider to grab the food, and drink. After Nar disappears behind the door again, Asuka enters the room, and gently shuts the door behind her. Nar places the food, and drink on his desk, then turns back to face his sister. Oh Solaris. He looks like he hasn't slept in days. Nar is still wearing the same clothes he was when he returned home. His appearance is disheveled, and he isn't standing up, so much as he seems to be trying not to fall over. His eyes are sullen, with multiple bags underneath. They lack the spark she's used to seeing in them. His expression is equally as sullen. Asuka can't remember the last time she's seen her brother this bad. Without a word, Asuka gently grabs her brother by the hand, and sits down on his bed, pulling him along with her. Her eyes begin to water. When she speaks, her voice is barely a whisper, and nearly cracks. "Oh, Nar. You must have been through so much." It's killing her to see her brother like this. "I don't know what you went through, but..." Asuka pauses, trying to figure out the right words to say. When she opens her mouth to speak again, Nar cuts her off. "I watched the life leave Amy's eyes." His voice cracks, and he looks as though he wants to cry, but simply doesn't have the tears to do so. "And there was nothing I could do to save her." At this, tears begin to stream down Asuka's cheeks. He went into that blue door to find Amy, believing he wouldn't. To think that he DID actually find her, only to watch her die... It breaks Asuka's heart. Without a word, Asuka gently takes her brother's head, and slowly brings him close. She rests his head on her chest, and shifts to sit leaning against the bed's headboard, while allowing Nar to lay down with his head on her chest. She then begins to gently stroke her brother's hair as she shakily hums one of the lullabies their mother used to sing to them when whey were children. Slowly, but surely, Nar's eyes close, and he falls asleep in his sister's arms. Even after he's fallen asleep, Asuka continues to stroke her brother's hair, hum a lullaby, and hold him close. It looks like she'll be laying here for the foreseeable future. That's okay. Her brother needs comfort, and as his little sister, she's determined to make sure he gets all the comfort, and love he needs. #rp
