"Wait hold the phone," Marenipulate chuckled. "If the drinks are 5% off, then adding 5% to a discounted price wouldn't necessarily bring it back to its original price. Let's say drinks are normally $5. 5% off would be $4.75. But adding 5% to $4.75 would make it $4.98, or $4.99 if you round up."

"The veteran discounts at the bar, and the seaside view from the upper rooms! Thanks, by the way. I appreciate the savings." The green stallion drew a deep breath through his nose, savoring the scent of the mule ingredients being mixed.
"Don't thank me, thank the Flimflam brothers." She finished mixing and poured the stallion his drink. "And I agree, the view of the sea is amazing. Though nothing compares to being right next to it."
Celtic Cross nodded in acknowledgement and issued an affirmative grunt. "If I see 'em, I'll pass my appreciation on." His Yale blue eyes glanced back and forth at other bar patrons and lingered curiously on the wide assortment of bottles behind the counter.
