Day 1, of diary, Timothy Hay, on new land. Hello Diary, I'm on a new land mass! And you wanna know what it's like?....Awful. The plant's are terrible, barely edible. The insects are annoying and BREED LIKE RUNEBYNS! More on why I hate those large rodents in disguise latter. The water is salty, no well of fresh water to be found! I told the captain about this, and she just fobbed me off. Me! The head bloody scientist Timothy Hay! Timothy Hay if you please, on thanks to Celestia herself! Though I have the feeling she gave it....grudgingly. Her and Luna....I swear she never liked me, even though it's that invented every ponies favourite food! Timothy Hay! Bio-geneticaully made by me, also Timothy Hay! Course, admittedly diary, this voyage across the old damn rickety boat named, in humour I'm sure, the "Steadfast Seadog". The captain.....Rainbow something, got her significant other there too some....country bumpkin. One with the cute pony tail, certainly the captain thought so. She told me "Awwwe don't worry about it. I'll get to it." Than, she zoomed off! Rainbow boom and all! Probably off on one of her "surveyor" jobs she claims the new princess gave her....like hell she was. Good thing her bumpkin is more reliable, using those powerful back legs of hers to help build not one, but , water freshener included. After seeing those legs at work? I'm beginning to see why the captain chose.  Leering aside, The colonies up now, and running. The land we....landed on, is sandy, rocky, with lots and lots of tree in the distance. And also lotsa bugs, but they were'nt so bad, yet. I gotta say, after months of sailing rough, than calm, than stormy seas on a leaky boat, it was good to be on land again. Even land as sandy and wet as the new land we landed on. Captain and co zipped off, saying she'd bring more ponies in. I hope so, cause right now, all we got going are some tents, a rough community ledge held together by spit and bits of string, trees all around us, bugs also all around us, and, of course, ponies. Oh....and some runebyns too, apparently we ponies need some  to use tools....at all, as well as climb, help collect food and help provided security.  wanted to help build a  pony colony, like in the olden days and my hero, Jacky-Cartier! But nooooooo, The so-called Princess of friendship was all "We NeEd To BuLiD FrEiNdShIpS", not like us ponies: earth, unicorns and all, can do anything we want! But ohh no.....we need to cater to these lesser species! I've said enough diary. I'm needed back outside, the Timothy Hay samples are ready to try and be planted in the wild. I'm to go off with a small team, 2 pegasi and a few bloody runebyns. Need to plan where we'll make the attempt, grab the appropriate tools, and head off. Till next time, diary.
