Sometimes Mandy forgot that not everyone lived somewhere where the winters could freeze Tartarus. Drinking hot drinks as soon as possible was a requirement for survival in Vanhoover. At least, that's what ponies from Vanhoover would tell you.

(For some reason, whenever I see Mandy, my mind immediatelly goes to Velvet Remedy. I have no idea if that's an accurate comparison, because I just started re-reading FoE today after not having read it for ages.)
