With the approval, and help of Ponyville t... View MoreSchool's out, and summer is IN! With the coming of summer break, Ponyville's local radio station, 103.6 "The Canyon" is hosting a summer bash to usher it in! With the approval, and help of Ponyville town hall, central park has been converted into a grounds for summer activities. Booths sell the typical summer treats, and souvenirs. Various water related rides, and activities have been set up around the park to help people cool off, and the pond is full of swimmers trying to beat the heat. Among the crowd in the park, two young friends sit on a bench for a little rest before they head over to the next ride they want to ride. While the hosts from the radio station spout about the events sponsors over the speakers placed around the park, these two converse about their summer plans. "Oh, check it!" The older of the two boys says, pointing over towards the amphitheater near the center of the park. "I heard Attack on Mango is gonna be playing today!" The other blows a raspberry in his friend's face, and waves a dismissive hand. "Yeah right. Attack on Mango hasn't played a show in months." "Look!" The first shouts excitedly, causing his friend to actually look in the direction of the amphitheater. No way! That's Attack on Mango, setting up on stage! "Here, let me help you with that, gramps." Juno remarks impishly as he moves to help Nar move one of the amps on stage. "Hey! I'm not that old!" Nar replies, mouth grinning ear to ear. "You're two years from 30. Your life is almost halfway over." Comments Asuka, behind her drumset. "Oh yeah. I'm 28 now." Nar keeps forgetting he missed his birthday this year. Oh well! At least he gets to spend today with his friends! Once the setup is done, all that's left is to wait for the okay from the sound crew. A crowd slowly gathers around the amphitheater. Eager to hear the former #1 band in Equestria start their show. At the front of the stage, Nar stands in his typical 'vacation dad' attire, sans the white undershirt. His fairly muscled physique, multiple scars, and healed bruises now visible to all VIA the window of his open shirt. Juno stands beside him, wearing little more than a pair of swim trunks, and flip flops. Near the back, scrappy stands behind her keyboard in a tank top, shorts, and sandals. In the very back, behind her drumset is a dermatologists' wet dream. Long, modest skirt that covers her legs, light, breathable long sleeve shirt to protect her arms, large sun hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen on every part of her body not covered by clothes, Asuka is taking no chances with the sun.
