First and foremost being his supposed skills as a bassist. He was certainly passable, but as far as anyone else knew, he wasn't much better than he was needed to be. Second was his sense of direction. Nar always seemed to know where he was, and how to get to where he needed to go. Lastly, was his experience with rollerskating, and not just the roller-rink kind. Though he did use rollerblades to get around most of the time, he usually liked to have fun with it, even if it wasn't exactly appropriate. Despite technically having two jobs (one being a bassist for his band, and the other, an explorer) Nar found that he liked picking up odd jobs as a courier from time to time. Most people didn't care how Nar got the package to where it needed to go, so long as it got there on time. With his modified skates, and knowledge of the various Astral Highways strewn about Vanhoover, Nar was more than capable of doing so. With the sun beginning to set beyond the great skyscrapers in the center of the city, Nar is just beginning his last drop-off for the day. The package he has needs to be delivered to practically the other side of the city, and he only had 20 minutes to get it there. Probably shouldn't have procrastinated on this for the whole day, but whatever. Nar found it more fun when he was under pressure. Using the various Astral Highways throughout the city, Nar was able to cut what should have been an hour-long journey into a 15 minute ride. Now it was just a brisk, 2 minute ride to-. Wait. What? Construction zone? Since when?! With no time to cut back, and take another route, Nar sighs, and resigns himself to go through the construction zone. He'll try to cause as little damage as he can, but he's in quite a hurry. Nar manages to enter the site with no issues, as it seems the construction crew isn't around at the moment. He manages to make his way halfway through the site before coming across a stack of I-beams blocking his path. The I-beams appear to be sitting between two concrete supports, which are just barely longer than the width of the I-beams. Nar scoots himself backwards a bit before he begins a mad dash towards the I-beams. With the extra distance, he's able to gather up a fair bit of speed. Around 20 or so yards before the I-beams, Nar veers to his right, and crouches down as he barrels towards the concrete support. With a great leap, Nar hops into the air, and swings his legs to his right, initiating a wall ride. He zooms up the concrete support, and just feet before the I-beams, hops once more. He has to position himself nearly completely horizontal, but he barely manages to clear the I-beams. Nar quickly re-adjusts his positioning in order to land on his wheels. As he half slams into the ground, he crouches nearly into a ball in order to distribute the force of the fall. After a few seconds of gliding across the ground as a ball, Nar stands upright, and looks behind himself. His eyes widen as the one gear in his brain process what he'd just done. "Holy crap! I'm not dead!" He shouts with glee as a large grin flashes onto his face. For a brief moment, Nar is ecstatic that he managed to pull of such a trick. Then the side of Nar's head meets a wooden board, and he ends up sliding, sprawled on the dirt. Number one rule of urban rollerblading, and pretty much any mode of transportation. Always watch where you're going. #rp
