At first, he didn't think much of it, but then he realized th... View MoreWhen Nar woke up this morning, the first thing to greet him was a heat seeking missile. AKA, Cookie launching herself onto him with a hug. At first, he didn't think much of it, but then he realized that she'd woken up before him. Which, she normally didn't. His confusion was cleared up when she greeted him with a cheerful "Happy Father's Day, Papa!" Oh, right! He IS a father! Well, he did know that, but it only just occurred to him that Father's Day applies to him now. After making his way downstairs, Nar finds out how Cookie managed to wake up before him. He finds his sister sat in the dining room, with the table packed full of his favorite breakfast foods. She must have come in when he was asleep to help Cookie make this for him. He almost forgot he'd given Asuka a key to his house. Later that day, the Yakushi family visits a local restaurant for a family celebration. There, Nar, and his father sit together as the 'guests of honor', as their family showers them with gifts. Cookie spends basically the whole meal attached to his side. At one point, the two exchange gifts with each other. Nar takes his gift, with his father wiping a tear from his eye. "Happy Father's day, my son. I am so very proud of you, and what you have become. You are a great father." Nar decides to open his gift before he starts to cry. The two fathers open the gifts they've exchanged, then, they begin to laugh together. The two wrap an arm around each other in a side hug as they share their laugh. Asuka peers from her seat at the table to see why they were laughing. When she sees it, she starts laughing too. They'd both gotten each other the same novelty picture frame. That night, as Nar tucks Cookie into bed, she grabs onto his arm, forcing him to lean down for a hug. There, the two remain locked in a gentle embrace for some time, before sleep finally begins to overtake Cookie. As her grip loosens, and her arms begin to fall, she smiles up at her father with a tired smile, and half-closed eyes. "Goodnight papa. You're the best papa in the whole wide world." Then, her head softly plops against her pillow, and she drifts off to sleep. Gently, Nar rises from the bed, and turns to leave the room. He turns off the lights, and closes the door as gently as possible. Once he makes it back to his living room, Nar plops onto his couch, and begins to cry tears of joy. #rp
